Christmas outfits!

Since we're now officially on the countdown to Christmas (yay), it has come to my attention that lots of people will be going to Christmas parties and will also be looking for outfits to wear on the day itself, so I've compiled a few outfits and collections together to maybe give you some inspiration!

I've tried to keep everything high street and quite budget-friendly but there are a few items (probably more in the beauty collection) that are on the pricier side. But then again, it's Christmas! Splash out a little.. hehehe

And here are some ideas for your make up on Christmas day, pretty and a little something different but not too much!

1. Tanya Burr Lipgloss (I think it's mistletoe kisses, I found nemo and afternoon tea)
2. Urban Decay Naked 2
3. Wake Me Up foundation by Rimmel London
4. Nars Sheer Glow
5. Urban Decay Naked 'FLUSHED' palette (bronzer, highlighter and blush)
6. Benefit Gimme Brow
7. Stay Matte Pressed Powder by Rimmel London
8. Rocket Volum' Mascara by Maybeline
9. They're real push-up liner but Benefit

I think the Boohoo outfit is my fave! What about you? Let me know in the comments!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's officially December yaaaaay!! And December only means one thing, the countdown to christmas has officially begun!

Although I normally do get really excited for christmas it just doesn't seem to have hit me yet this year and it's kind of getting me down because I want to get into the festive mood. So, I've decided to make a list of 10 of the things that I look forward to at Christmas time.

1. Christmas songs - they just put you in a happy mood don't they?

2. Christmas movies - some of my favourites are Love Actually, The Holiday, Santa Claus 2 and Bridget Jones' Diary (although I guess Bridget Jones can be watched all year round really? idk)

3. Colder weather - Ok so I am a typical british girl, call me weird but I actually do look forward to the colder weather and just being able to wrap up and wear cosy clothes!

4. Christmas shopping - Yes, it can be stressful, but I love picking out presents that my friends and family will love, and it's even better as I finally have a job so I can actually pay for presents this year!

5. Decorations - From inside the house to outside the house to your local supermarket to the town centre, it seems like everyone wants to get involved in Christmas decorations

6. Merry Christmas, Kiss My Ass - I can FINALLY listen to one of my favourite All Time Low songs for at least the next month (like literally it'll be on repeat 24/7 not kidding)

7. Snow - I pretty much gave up hoping for a 'white christmas' a long time ago but Christmas time generally means snow is coming at one point or another

8. Clothes - it's party clothes season, there's nothing wrong with a little glitter!

9. The food - OBV! Of course there's Christmas dinner but then there's Christmas pudding and Christmas cake and more chocolate than you should probably eat but it's christmas so WHO CARES!

10. The fact that for one day a year nothing else matters other than family and friends and loved ones all coming together (got a little deep there, sorry, cringey but it's true)

So those are 10 things that I look forward to at Christmas time, what about you? Let me know in the comments!

Meet the Blogger!

Hey! So my name's Lucy, I'm 18 years old and this is my new blog!

I've had a blog before but long story short, I was in a bad place when I was attempting to run my last one and I felt like all the posts I was making was just my way of masking what was really going on which probably wasn't the best thing to do, so I deleted it. However, I've always been a creative person and am always looking for ways to express creativity, and I guess sometimes I just want somewhere to ramble on about whatever is on my mind, so here I am! (again)

So you can get to know me a bit better, I've decided to write down 15 facts about me:

1. My name is Lucy ( but you probably already guessed that one)

2. My birthday is 26/05/1996

3. I have naturally light brown hair but I get blonde highlights

4. I did Media Studies, Drama and Photography for my A Levels

5. I hated school, but LOVED sixth form! (aka college)

6. I live in the North East of England

7. My accent is maybe sometimes hard to understand to some people because I don't pronounce my words correctly, for example, if I were to say 'Butter' it would come out as 'Bu'ah' (it's a northern thing I guess)

8. I admit, I do have a fangirl side to me. I feel like it is starting to fade a bit as i'm growing up but it is still definitely hiding in there somewhere! But then again, everybody has at least one thing they get overly excited about don't they?

9. I go to concerts ALOT, they are my happy place

10. I saw one of my favourite artists, Ed Sheeran, live for the first time yesterday and he was amazing!

11. I am currently learning to drive but I hate driving, it scares me

12. I have been listening to Night Changes - One Direction on repeat the whole time I've been writing this post

13. Some of my fave TV series include Friends, Pretty Little Liars, Teen Wolf, Gossip Girl and 90210 (but there are plenty more)

14. I have at least 7 Apple products (iPhone, iPod touch, iPod nano, iPad, Macbook Pro, Apple TV and an Apple DVD usb drive)

15. I've been to New York once (May 2014) and Florida twice (2005 and 2008) where we went to Disney World aka my favourite place in the whole of the earth

So there you have it, 15 facts about me. I hope this was even the tiniest bit interesting and if you read this then I hope you return to my blog to see my future posts! :)
