My Night Time Skincare Routine

31 July 2015

So first of all, sorry it's been a while since my last post, I've had a little bit of writer's block! But I'm back with plenty of ideas now so yay!

If you follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram (@justlucyslife) then you'll know that I recently changed my night time skincare routine.

I was running out of make up wipes but when I got to my local Boots I realised they'd ran out of the Simple make up wipes I usually use. It was then that I spotted some Soap & Glory items on sale and if you read my blog then you'll know that I love a good S & G product so I decided to pick up the Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk along with some large cotton pads.

Before purchasing I quickly read some reviews and somebody had described the scent of the product like 'minty peaches' and that is exactly the smell! I thought it might be too overpowering at first but I've found to love the smell and the minty essence seems to give a fresher feel.

I was also a little worried about breaking out as it's so perfumed but so far so good, no break outs and it leaves my skin feeling fresh and smooth just like it claims to.

To go along with my make up removing lotion I decided to pick up this Garnier 'Express 2 in 1 Eye Make-up Remover' for my eye make up. I've been using it for about a week now and I'm not disappointed or amazed by it, it's just ok. This product claims to remove all eye make-up with one swipe so you don't have to go back and rub over your eyes which could ruin your eyelashes. However, while one swipe does remove quite a bit of my mascara, it doesn't get all of it meaning I do have to go back over and rub my eyes which is what this product is trying to prevent. Then again, it was under £3 if I remember rightly so I guess I can't complain too much!

After I've removed my make up I go ahead and apply some of my favourite moisturiser - the Replenishing Rich Moisturiser by Simple. I've been using this moisturiser for quite a while now and I love it as it does exactly what it says on the bottle. It's also reasonably priced and one bottle lasts for quite a long time!

What about you? What do you use in your skincare routine? I'm always looking for new things to try so I'd love for you to tell me in the comments!
