Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Eyeshadow Palette

21 April 2016

About a month ago I had a bit of spare money so decided to treat myself to the dreamy Chocolate Bon Bons eyeshadow palette by Too Faced. I'd heard so many bloggers rave about this palette with some even saying they preferred it to Naked. I didn't believe anything could be better than Naked at first, but I have to say after trying it out for myself, I think I agree.

First of all the packaging is just lovely. In a baby pink metal case and heart shaped eyeshadow tins, it looks so pretty and girly. I also love that you actually get a scent of chocolate when you open up the palette, if that's not dedication to the name then I don't know what is!

The reason the eyeshadow smells of chocolate is that they're actually made with cocoa powder, yum!

Moving on to the actual eyeshadow. The colours are so pigmented. I honestly didn't think I could find anything better than my faithful Naked palettes, but I have to admit it, Bon Bons takes the biscuit.

I love that there's such a range of colours. You could take this palette away with you on any trip and you'd have the right colours at hand for a natural daytime look or a smokey night out look.

I'm also liking the more 'out there' colours such as the pinks and teal green.

I didn't think I'd ever wear pink eyeshadow but then I saw Kylie Jenner wearing baby pink eyeshadow so I just had to recreate it with 'Cotton Candy' and it's become one of my favourite eye looks to date!

I seriously can't fault this palette. The only thing that I didn't like was that you don't get a brush with it, but I think most people will have enough eyeshadow brushes at home anyway. The colours blend so easily and nicely, and you even get a little guide with 3 looks to recreate. I found this really helpful when choosing which colours to use together.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend this palette and I think it's definitely worth the money.

Have you tried the Bon Bons palette? If so, what did you think? If not, do you want to try it? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
