Zoella Beauty | Sweet Inspirations

10 June 2016

Ever since I got my new new camera I've been dying to take some snaps for my blog with it, and what better post to start off with than Zoella's latest beauty range 'Sweet Inspirations'.

First of all, this has got to be one of the most prettily packaged collections I've ever seen! The colour scheme's, the pastels, the subtle hints of gold, the designs... everything is just so gorgeous!

Secondly, it also happens to smell incredible! I'm not normally a fan of sweet scents, I find that if they're too strong or too sweet they can become a bit sickening. However, when I popped into Superdrug to have a sniff of the Sweet Inspirations collection, I fell in love. It's exactly how so many people, including Zoe, have been describing it, not too sweet and you can definitely smell that the range has been inspired by macarons and sweet almond. It's a really unique scent which is lovely and sweet but not too overpowering, and is also quite sophisticated and musky at the same time.

I feel like this is a step up for Zoella as it's a much more sophisticated range. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've loved her previous ranges! But in my opinion they were all quite girly and young, whereas I can see women of all ages liking this scent and these products.

I picked up 4 things from the collection. I got the 'Le Fizz' bath fizzer, the 'Double Creme' body cream, the body mist and, of course, the 'Bath Latte' shower milk.

The Bath Latte has got to be my favourite out of the collection. I love the concept of the bottle design, it's so different, quirky and just adorable! I can't wait to make some bubbles with this lovely smelling beauty.

I love the fragranced body mist and think it's going to be great for summer. I don't like to wear perfume as much in the summer as I feel like they're too heavy, and I prefer a lighter scent like a mist. I've already tried this out and throughout the day I kept getting whiffs of loveliness every now and then, so it lasts quite a while!

The body cream was something that I was 'uhm-ing' and 'ah-ing' about as I don't normally use body lotions. Bad, I know! But I can't stand the sticky feeling of a thick moisturiser. However, this body cream sinks in quickly so there is no sticky feeling, yay! I've been using this quite a bit which is great as it's encouraging my to look after my skin more and, again, it smells so good!

As I said on my snapchat (justlucyslife), when it comes to bath products I usually stick to LUSH products, but this bar was so nicely packaged and looked and smelled so good, I just couldn't leave it. I'm not surprised there's a 'Do Not Eat' label on the back as it really does look good enough to eat! I can't wait to use this Bath Fizzer bar.

Another thing I love about this range is that it is so reasonably priced. The Bath Latte was £6, the mist was £8, the body cream was £5 and the Bath Fizzer was £5. It's definitely value for money!

Have you tried anything from Zoe's Sweet Inspirations range yet? What did you think? If not, is there anything you'd like to try? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
