My First Time at The Little Nail House | Blogmas Day 15

15 December 2016

As a student I can't afford the luxury of having pretty nails all the time, but around special occasions such as my birthday or Christmas, I do like to treat myself!

I first discovered The Little Nail house when I saw a picture of some stunning nails on Instagram, and then I found out that Andrea is actually based about 10 minutes away from my house so I booked in to get myself some Christmassy gel nails as soon as I could.

Andrea was very friendly from the start taking me upstairs to her nail room followed by a cup of tea. As the business is based upstairs in her home The Little Nail house has a very cosy feel to it, and we were also joined by her little dog Poppy!

I'd already been stalking her Instagram so I already had an idea in mind of the design and colours I wanted, which is a first as I'm usually sat for ages trying to pick a colour! I decided on sparkly red nails, which Andrea said has been very popular with her, with snowflakes on and 2 statement Rudolph designs. Andrea hand painted the adorable little Rudolphs herself and printed on the snowflakes with a special nail stamp.

Although my nails aren't the longest Andrea still managed to do an amazing job with them. I'm so pleased with my nails and I'll definitely be going to The Little Nail House again. If you're around the Darlington/Middleton St George area then you need to check out The Little Nail house! You can also follow @thelittlenailhouse on Instagram or search The Little Nail House on Facebook.

Do you prefer gel nails or acrylics when you get your nails done?
