Ibiza Diaries Day 2: Ocean Beach

24 July 2017

I woke up excited on our second day as today was the day I was finally going to experience the infamous Ocean Beach Club.

I'd ordered a bikini a few weeks ago which was specially made as I wanted something special for Ocean Beach. The bikini I wore was from an online boutique called Jackie's Bikini Boutique and it was fully custom made. I chose a standard triangle top with high waisted bottom's in an amazing mint green mermaid print. This was the first time I've ever worn a bikini and although before hand I was feeling a little self conscious, when I got there those doubts faded straight away.

The venue was unbelievable to say the least. With a white and orange theme it felt so chic and summery. We booked our own beds for around £30 each when we booked the holiday and they were so worth it! We got waited on all day and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I was also really surprised that this ended up being the most reasonably priced place we visited in Ibiza. Cocktails were around $9 euros each and we got a chicken pitta with a side of chips for lunch which was just $14, and it was so tasty.

We spent the first half of the day upstairs on our beds while it was reasonably quite, and we had a dip in one of the hot tubs with a cocktail for a while. The whole vibe was very chilled.

We then got our chicken pitta's (which were unbelievable and came with some super tasty hummus!) and then went downstairs to explore.

There were dancers dotted around the venue and drinks were flowing everywhere you looked. We sat around the pool for a while and the shooters that go off every now and then absolutely soaked me! It was all part of the fun though and surprisingly my glitter stayed completely in place.

It was around this point that we spotted the man himself Wayne Lineker meeting and greeting people around the venue. If you don't know who Wayne Lineker is then he owns Ocean Beach Club. He also has a string of bars named Lineker's Bar (inventive) and he is in fact the brother of presenter Gary Lineker.

Wayne was honestly lovely and was more than happy to get a photo with us. It really surprised me how friendly he was and there were no forced smiles or anything, it really made the experience that little bit better! We also spotted Alex from last year's Love Island.

It was then time for Lovely Laura to do her first set with her saxophone and she was incredible. She came down in a huge flamingo hanging from a crane (no joke!) and the whole show was just unreal. If you're going to Ibiza then I'd say that Ocean Beach is an absolute must! It was my favourite day of the holiday and I could of happily gone there another few days.
