December is nearly upon us so I think it's safe to say the 'C' word now... CHRISTMAS! Christmas is my favourite time of year and one of my favourite parts is picking out presents for my loved ones.
To me, you can't go wrong with gifting a fragrance at Christmas. You can guarantee it will always go down well as you can never have too many dreamy scents to chose from, right? Although I love choosing gifts at Christmas, sometimes it can be a struggle picking something out that you can be sure that the person receiving it will love. However, with a fragrance, whether it's for your Mum, your Dad, your partner or a friend, there is always something to suit everyone. So, when Fragrance Direct asked if I'd like to pick out a couple of amazing scents, I jumped at the chance.
Fragrance Direct are my go to as their prices are fab (and who doesn't love a good bargain around Christmas time?!) and they have such a wide range for both men and women including so many big brands such as Marc Jacobs, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein and Chloe. You may have seen my previous post where they kindly sent me some gorgeous Spring scents which I used all season long, and this season I was spoiled for choice! I very kindly got to pick out a fragrance for myself and one to gift to someone of my choice, so I decided to choose one for my Mum because she deserves a treat.
For myself I chose Marc Jacob's Decadence. First of all, I just love the packaging! I think it's so clever how the lid acts as the top and strap of a handbag. It's so unique and glamorous, so would make an amazing present for anyone. With notes of Rose, Jasmine and Plum, it creates an indulgent woody scent, perfect for the evening when you want a sexier scent, great for Christmas parties too!
For my Mum I chose Chloe Signature. The scent is described as feminine, natural and sexy with uplifiting floral scents, and it sounded like the perfect scent for my Mum. The bottle is also so pretty which I think is important in a perfume. It's a clear bottle so you can see the rosey pink perfume through, and has a baby pink bow tied on the top. I can't wait to see my Mum's reaction when she opens this on Christmas day, I'm sure she's going to love it!
