I can't believe Christmas is already over, it always goes by way too quickly doesn't it?! However I had an amazing day spent with my loved ones and I consumed (probably too many) pigs in blankets, chocolate and alcohol. I also was lucky enough to receive some amazing presents so I thought I'd do a post showing you all the main bits I got as personally What I Got for Christmas posts are some of my favourites and you all voted for one over on Twitter!
First of all, there is one main present that isn't in the photo and that's because it's a TV! I've had the same tiny TV for literally 10 years and really fancied a bigger one, so my Dad very generously treat me to one! I love it, may all the movie days and Netflix binges commence. My next main present was off my Mum and that was the 45mm camera lens for my Olympus Pen! This lens really is a game changer, the quality is just unreal. I can't wait to up my Insta game in 2018 and take lots more outfit pics, keep your eyes peeled!
I got a few fragrances including Ted Baker 'Ella', Tanya Burr's Velvet Vanille and an Armani fragrance so needless to say I'll be smelling like a dream in 2018! I also got a few things on the make up front. My Mum got me 2 Mac lip liners (Stripdown & Spice), a Mac lipstick (Velvet Teddy) and a Stila Magnificent Metals liquid eyeshadow in Retro Rose Gold which is simply stunning. And along with the beauty I also got the cutest little pamper bath set from Zoella's range.
I also got a whole lotta LUSH! I got some bath bombs, bubble bars, and bath melts from my Mum and Brother incuding my faves Shoot for the Stars and The Comforter, and I also got a £20 gift voucher from my Aunty so it's fair to say I'm stocked up for a while! And of course as I'm a media student a DVD had to be on the list and this year it was Legend. I watched this movie for the first time this year and have been obsessed since, Tom Hardy's acting is something else and not to mention how fit he looks as Reggie Kray!
The other 2 big presents I got were both something I had been needing for a while, a comfy coat and a good pair of earphones! The coat is from Zara and it's soo dreamy, it's super soft, comfy and the colour is the perfect mauve pink. The earphones are from Beats and are white and rose gold (obv) and will come in handy on my commute to uni and gym sessions.
My Grandma gave us a few stocking filler type presents along with £100 spending money each so I decided to treat myself to a new Pandora ring. I've had my eye on the rose gold bow ring for so long and I'm so happy it's finally on my hand, it's just gorgeous.
I also took part in my first secret santa this year at work and I loved it. I got my Manager as my secret santa and it's clear she knows my taste to a T! Everything was baby pink and rose gold, so cute!
So that's pretty much it for my main presents and it's fair to say I got well and truly spoiled on Christmas Day and I'm so grateful for it all!
