Do you ever see a beauty guru raving about a product and think 'OMG I NEED TO HAVE THIS ASAP'? Well that's exactly what I thought when I saw Tati's video on Jolie Beauty's Bomb Dot Com palette.
This palette is ALL glitter! It comes beautifully packaged with a rose gold foiled effect and is really compact and light so would be great for travel. With 24 dazzling colours to chose from this is the perfect pick me up for these January blues.
I actually treat myself to this palette before Christmas as I thought it would be perfect for the festive season, and I was right. I used the Bom Dot Com palette on both Christmas day and Boxing day (I would have used it on NYE too but I had a stye, booo.) and I was amazed at the results.
Although each pressed glitter is quite chunky, you don't get much fall out when transferring from the pan to your eyelid. I'd suggest using your finger to make sure you pick up lots of product. This also makes it easier to apply as you can dab it on the lid instead of sweeping it on which I find works best as you can really pack the glitter on. I also used a bit of eyelash glue to help the glitter stick and it lasted all day!
I was stuck for choice the first few times using this palette. On Christmas I used a gold (the second shade in the swatches down below) as I was wearing a red dress so I thought they would make the perfect festive match. On boxing day I went for a mocha/pink colour which looked stunning. I loved both shades and both made my eyes pop. Although I went for pretty neutral colours during the festive season I'm dying to use those deep reds, blues and purple! I even think the lime green would look stunning on so if you're wanting to experiment with glitter looks, this palette is the one for you!
The Bomb Dot Com palette usually retails for £25.99 which I think is such a reasonable price considering the quality, colour range and how many shades there are. However, I actually got this when Jolie Beauty had a discount code on so it was just £22.99! If you love glitter then I'd definitely recommend you pick up this palette, I promise you won't regret it!
