Hey guys, it's been a minute since I last posted hasn't it!
I've been so super busy this last month, I can't believe it's the end of May already where has that gone?! So because I've been a bit MIA I thought I'd update you all on what I've been up to all in one post. So grab a cuppa and some snacks, and let's have a catch up.

So one of the biggest things that's happened to me recently is becoming a regional finalist for Miss GB. It sounds crazy even typing that. I kind of applied on a whim after being convinced by one of the ladies organising it and my boss and I thought even if I don't win anything at least I've raised money for charity and it sounds like an amazing experience, then about a week after applying I got an email saying I'd been shortlisted!
The biggest part of it at the moment is raising as much money as we can for charity through fundraising events. I'm currently in the process of organising a ladies evening filled with partying and prosecco, so I absolutely can't wait for that and fingers crossed there's a good turn out as it's the first time I've organised an event! Then on 13th June I'll be competing along side the rest of the girls in 3 themed rounds in a big fancy hall, one of them being ball gown's which I'm so excited about, and then if I'm lucky enough to be crowned Miss Teesside I'll be going on to compete for Miss GB. I can honestly say I'm not expecting to win Miss Teesside, but the fact that I'm even shortlisted for it is something I'm pretty proud of considering I grew up having little to no self confidence in my school years.
I've also just finished my second year at University which is the main reason why I've been a little quiet. My degree is all coursework so when it's deadline season it takes over! However, my last deadline was 2 weeks ago and I'm now free for the Summer apart from work so expect lots of regular content to come. I honestly can't believe in September I'll be going into my third and final year of uni. It's been the best experience ever so far and I honestly just want to stay in the student bubble forever, It's going by way too fast.
Those are the major things that have happened in my life recently but I've also got loads of plans coming up too. In June alone I'll be competing for Miss Teesside, going to see Demi Lovato (in the front block, I'm probs going to cry), attending York Races for Beth from Polished Couture's birthday and I'll also be modelling for my friend who owns her own boutique in Redcar, Betty Leigh Boutique, at Redcar Races! Oh, and I've also just turned 22!
