My Winter Skin Saviours

5 December 2017

This time of year I feel like my skin needs a bit more TLC then usual. The cold weather can really dry out my skin and I've also found myself having a few breakouts lately, so today I'm going to tell you all about the products that have been saving my skin recently!

Nivea Rich Regenerating Night Cream

This cold, frosty weather can really take it's toll on my skin and dry it out, so I love to use this Night cream by Nivea to give my skin a good nourish over night, leaving my skin feeling lovely and moisturised when I wake up! It's super thick and feels pretty luxurious, so for just over £4 this moisturiser is a must for me! I buy it over and over again during the Winter.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Nourishing Lip Balm

I don't know about you but my lips constantly need moisturising during the colder months, day or night, so this Eight Hour lip balm was a great investment. Although it's quite pricey (20!) you only need a little bit at a time and the thick balm keeps my lips nourished for hours, just as the name says!

Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop

As I mentioned earlier, I've been having quite a few breakouts recently which sucks as I normally don't get too many breakouts, but I guess the change in weather, going back to Uni and a busy lifestyle is taking it's toll! So I picked up this Tea Tree Oil form The Body Shop. I put it on just before I go to bed and the first time I used it I noticed a difference straight away. Tea Tree Oil is great for reducing breakouts and redness so I've been loving this product and it's definitely helping.

L'oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask

Another thing that's been helping my breakouts is this Pure Clay Detox Mask from L'oreal. I love a good face mask when my skin needs some extra attention as I feel like they really help, and when I saw the word 'Detox' in this mask I picked it up straight away. It's priced at £7.99 and you'd get quite a few uses out of it which is good. I really did feel like it helped as well. After using it my blemishes had visibly gone down and I felt like my skin was a lot clearer. I've been using it twice a week and I love the results it gives me.

Zoella Winter Wonder Hand

Zoella's hand cream last year was a go-to product for me, it smelt like gingerbread and lasted me ages, I still have some left now! So when I saw she was bringing out a newly scented version I had to pick it up. It's a great sized hand cream and you definitely get your money's worth as it's only £6! I also love the smell this year, it's so refreshing, and the hand cream itself gives my hands the nourishing they need this time of year.

So those are some products that have been saving my skin lately! What about you? Tell me some of your holy grail skincare products in the comments!
