Jeffree Star's Holiday Collection 2018: My Picks

24 November 2018

Jeffree Star products have never failed me and I think Jeffree creates some of the best make up money can buy, so when I saw the reveal for his latest holiday collection I couldn't wait to pick up a few bits.

From this collection I chose 2 liquid lips, Can't Relate and Hi, How are ya? and a lip scrub in Salted Caramel. Starting off with the liquid lipsticks...

Can't Relate was the first shade I added to my basket as after having a few shades from Jeffree's range I was yet to try out his liquid lip formula in a nude shade, and this looked like a lovely pinky, nude! Named after his iconic phrase, I knew this shade was a good choice to add to my collection. Just like the other liquid lips I have from this range, the product glides on and dries quickly, but isn't drying at all and is so light you'd almost believe nothing was on!

Next up, Hi, How are ya?.. I have a red from Jeffree Star Cosmetics in Cherry Wet and it is my go-to for a red lip now for it's wearability and gorgeous blue-toned shade. However, Hi, How are ya? is a slightly deeper red shade and also features glitter sparkles which activate when you press your lips together which I was so intrigued about, and I can confirm it actually works! The red is a gorgeous rich, berry red shade and the glitter flecks flicker as they catch the light, perfect for the festive season!

And of course I couldn't make a Jeffree Star order without ordering one of his lip scrubs. I don't know how he does it but the flavours in these scrubs are always spot on, literally good enough to eat! This time I picked up Salted Caramel as I have a huge sweet tooth and love Salted Caramel. I was worried it was going to be sickly as sweet scents in products can often be over powering but this is just right and these scrubs never dry out which I love!

I also have to mention the packaging on this year's holiday collection because I am totally obsessed with it. The white lids are super chic and the red flecks of glitter throughout the packaging is really something I've never seen done before and it looks beautiful.

So that's what I picked up this time in the latest Jeffree Star launch. I'm continuously impressed with his range and it's quickly become one of my favourite beauty brands of all time. What are your thoughts on this collection? Do you have anything on your wish list? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to chat!
