Do people even blog anymore? I don't know, but I kinda miss it. So, here we are. </p><p><br /></p><p>Where have I been?</p><p><br /></p><p>Well, for the past year I've been living my best life in Manchester. I had originally applied to do a Master's degree in Public Relations & Digital Communications in 2020, but of course the big C hit so it got put on the back burner. Come September 2021 and I was in the front seat of my Dad's car ready to move into a tiny little student flat, and I ended up having the best year.</p><p><br /></p><p>I'll admit, the living situation wasn't ideal. Due to a mix up I ended up sharing with two fresher's (as a 25 year old who has already done freshers 3 times the first degree around), so it's fair to say that it ended up being an interesting experience. But, it got me through and here I am about to graduate for a second time (18 year old Lucy wouldn't have believed it!).</p><p><br /></p><p>Living in Manchester really opened my eyes to independence and of course, the big city life. I've learnt how to cook something other than spag bol, how to navigate a city, and I've also learnt how to stretch £5 over one week (couldn't of done it without you, Aldi). </p><p><br /></p><p>I might actually write a separate post on my time moving out and adjusting to the city, because growing up as a 'townie' my whole life it was definitely a big change. Walking alone at night became terrifying, and falling asleep to sirens as a background noise took some adjusting to. However having said that, it was a change that I ended up loving! If you're looking to move to any city, I could not recommend Manchester more.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCH0PXy8MUt5VLQ277z2uXKe65-i3fo8fsnuevE2jyMXm52TeiKtaTZSgISNHQ1t76Y9dIfD3TWNuOHUJu11tVwYKT9QunIqzCMtaXS8E-c7ErA5Fv-eGeqGiRHWbfMejaVkLqtfZOEsaELpJjdEwMOiGGjxOhSAGZsskN9LoE7qjJWEWRafdo3KmSFQ/s1480/Screenshot%202022-10-10%20at%2020.38.04.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1372" data-original-width="1480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCH0PXy8MUt5VLQ277z2uXKe65-i3fo8fsnuevE2jyMXm52TeiKtaTZSgISNHQ1t76Y9dIfD3TWNuOHUJu11tVwYKT9QunIqzCMtaXS8E-c7ErA5Fv-eGeqGiRHWbfMejaVkLqtfZOEsaELpJjdEwMOiGGjxOhSAGZsskN9LoE7qjJWEWRafdo3KmSFQ/s16000/Screenshot%202022-10-10%20at%2020.38.04.png" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>The atmosphere, the food places (Rudy's, I miss you), the bars, the people... it's just amazing. Plus, it still felt pretty homey as it's got such a northern feel to it.</p><p><br /></p><p>I'm planning to get back there as soon as possible, but to do that I first of all need to get a job. Wish me luck, it's tough out here for a grad!</p><p><br /></p><p>I feel like over the past year I've discovered so much more about myself, who I want to be and what I want in life. It really is true what they say about moving out of your hometown, it is one of the best things you could ever do for yourself and opens up so many more doors.</p><p><br /></p><p>Hope you enjoyed this little update, hopefully another wave of blogging inspiration will hit again soon and I'll be back with another post.</p><p><br /></p><p>Lucy x</p>Lucyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01650627442869558531noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1523265265971227577.post-87941494159165377792022-03-04T12:43:00.212+00:002022-03-10T21:26:33.613+00:00What is Retinol? - Here's everything you need to know<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhjKw9AdNOwP6YyQrxJCzfZyeLKDvqXX0etL_XXe0cl5kDi8AzbaiIp_pt90HgXh-zIt6BDw3-gAjG3bimwh26lDhBKC0LkbIRJhqcidDK2pqcBsZyOvKmL66EPoQfOm15yF0j7s_nz2kqK6z8Tl-fadJtasAq-8dDZJkar2pwMTT9vm8GqiccPABYOcw=s1500" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1500" data-original-width="1000" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhjKw9AdNOwP6YyQrxJCzfZyeLKDvqXX0etL_XXe0cl5kDi8AzbaiIp_pt90HgXh-zIt6BDw3-gAjG3bimwh26lDhBKC0LkbIRJhqcidDK2pqcBsZyOvKmL66EPoQfOm15yF0j7s_nz2kqK6z8Tl-fadJtasAq-8dDZJkar2pwMTT9vm8GqiccPABYOcw=s16000" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">The world of skincare can definitely be a complicated one to navigate. We've just wrapped our head's around the difference between a serum and an oil (serum's absorb deeper, fyi), and now we have to think about specific ingredients to use to benefit different needs of our skin! </span></div><p>Well, if you're like me and have been noticing some fine lines recently, or maybe you've been having some bad breakouts? Then one ingredient you need to look into using is RETINOL! This is best added into your skincare routine when you're in your late twenties - thirties as it prevents signs of ageing, but that's not all. In this post I'm going to explain exactly what Retinol is, how to use it and why you should add it into your routine, too.</p><p><b><u><br /></u></b></p><p><b><u>So, what exactly is Retinol?</u></b></p><p>Retinol is a type of Retinoid, and Retinoids are compounds that are derived from Vitamin A. A bit confused? I was too. It's a lot of scientific terms which basically means - an active ingredient that can be used in skincare.</p><p><b><u><br /></u></b></p><p><b><u>Ok.. so how do you use it?</u></b></p><p>Retinol should be used as part of your night time routine, let it work it's magic while you get your beauty sleep! It can be used at a higher percentage through prescription, however in most cases you will use it in skincare in the form of a serum or in your moisturiser. Personally, I started out with Super Facialist's night cream (can normally be found in TK Maxx for half the price, thank me later!) as this way the Retinol was diluted and was automatically getting worked into the skin with that moisture barrier, and then I moved up to using The Ordinary's Retinol 0.2% in Squalene serum when my skin had gotten used to the ingredient.</p><p>Retinol can be harsh on the skin, and can cause irritation, redness and even peeling in the first few weeks of use. This is why a higher dosage would have to be used under doctor advice, whereas the percentage found in skincare brands is weaker, but still does a good job and is more kind to the skin. For more sensitive skin types, I would recommend starting with a smaller dosage and then move up in percentage when you feel that your skin is more tolerant to save irritation.</p><p><b><u><br /></u></b></p><p><b><u>What exactly does Retinol do? </u></b></p><p>You might of heard people say that once you reach 25 it's time to introduce yourself to Retinol, and that's because the main purpose of using this ingredient is for it's anti-ageing properties. The other key benefit of Retinol is that it renews cells, which is why it provides so many of the dreamy results that it does. Once you reach the age of 30, your cells stop renewing as they used to and that's the main cause of wrinkles and dull skin, so this is where Retinol comes in to start that cycle back up. </p><p>With tired cells being turned into new ones, it is constantly overturning the badness in your skin to make way for new, fresh skin cells. With your skin regenerating and essentially having it's own glow up party, it smooths over wrinkles, brightens hyperpigmentation, prevents break outs & blackheads by keeping pores from clogging and gets rids of dry skin cells.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here's a handy little infographic to show you exactly what the key benefits of Retinol are:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgiyn550TNkLDzXyR6rFbnaP3AfwDB9ycnRv5OfQA4VeFYWibO3SXRtMKwrfVPoEMjbP0GLdqKaLIwJe4pr89Z8uaXD9_wnKwVMEzn1KNByTJXlTsa-wn4mRZYf9S3B8CSVASKi_H2y0OamtS-KaVHfsX9NcMtyhURMqvAKNvAVbSLQDY6y3CgwN5ByVA=s1080" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgiyn550TNkLDzXyR6rFbnaP3AfwDB9ycnRv5OfQA4VeFYWibO3SXRtMKwrfVPoEMjbP0GLdqKaLIwJe4pr89Z8uaXD9_wnKwVMEzn1KNByTJXlTsa-wn4mRZYf9S3B8CSVASKi_H2y0OamtS-KaVHfsX9NcMtyhURMqvAKNvAVbSLQDY6y3CgwN5ByVA=s16000" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I hope this beginner's guide to Retinol was useful to you. Rose is a very balancing ingredient so it balances your oils, inflammation and irritation, while also providing the most amazing glowy, nourishment. Some of my favourite products include the <i>Rose Hydrate Radiance Day Cream</i> from Super Facialist and <i>Ro's Argan </i>from Lush, especially for tan days where I want everything to go on smoothly and seamlessly.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><u>Hyaluronic Acid</u></b></p><p><br /></p><p>Unless you've been living under a rock then you'll of definitely heard of this ingredient. It's all over skincare adverts and is even advertised for being used in makeup now, and with good reason. Hyaluronic acid provides intense hydration while also firming the skin and providing a natural plumpness, so basically if you don't know, then get to know! My current faves are the <i>Super Facialist Firming Night Cream</i>, and <i>The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid </i>in a bottle as this has a super watery texture meaning it sinks right into the surface of your skin that a cream wouldn't reach, and you can also put this on before your moisturiser for an added boost.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><u>Vitamin C</u></b></p><p><b><u><br /></u></b></p><p>Cold weather got your skin looking a little tired, dull & basically like you need an extra large toffee nut latte from starbs? - Same! I like to use Vitamin C all year round as it gives a gorgeous glow, but in the winter months especially it gives a bit of life back to your dry skin. A favourite of mine is the <i>Vitamin C</i> spray from <i>The Body Shop</i>, as it's a spray I can top up and spritz through the day keeping my glow going.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><u>Glycolic Acid</u></b></p><p><br /></p><p>Talking about dry, dull skin... if you feel like you need to set refresh on your skin then <i>Glycolic Acid</i> is your new bestie! This acid gently exfoliates and peels back the very top layer of your skin, meaning it takes the dull dead skin away and reveals a fresh shiny new layer. However - HUGE WARNING - do not use this everyday! For one, your skin doesn't need it, but also using this ingredient too much will irritate and damage your skin, it is still an acid after all, so I'd recommend using it 2-3 times a week at the most. I usually use the <i>Nip + Fab Glycolic Acid Fix pads</i> around twice a week, once on a weekday and once at the weekend.</p><p><br /></p><p>I hope this gives you some inspiration on switching up your routine for the colder months. Trust me, your skin will thank you for it!</p><p><br /></p><p style="text-align: center;">Lucy x</p>Lucyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01650627442869558531noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1523265265971227577.post-15134288970574088922020-11-09T17:27:00.004+00:002020-11-09T17:39:16.229+00:00Revolution x Friends Series 2 Collection | Gifted<p style="text-align: justify;">Could I have BEEN more excited when I heard Revolution were releasing another Friends collection, but this time bigger and better?! I was so impressed with the packaging on first glance, for a drugstore brand it really is incredible and so creative! There's one in the style of the classic yellow 'peep hole' frame on Monica's door, a 3D design of Phoebe's taxi and a lobster themed palette in honour of Ross and Rachel. Each palette has a great mixture of mattes and shimmers, so if you only wanted one you would still have the option of being able to create a subtle daytime look or night time glam. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div><p style="text-align: justify;">Each palette has a different colour scheme; the taxi palette has more blues and cool shades, the lobster palette has reds and warm shades and the frame palette has more pinks and purples. However, each palette also has a range of neutrals in mattes and shimmers so if you didn't fancy playing with colour every day then the option for a neutral look is still there.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">The shade names are also one of my favourite things about these palettes! My favourite names have got to be Nubbin, Beef Trifle, Dr Drake Ramoray, I Take Thee Rachel and the 'You Ate My Sandwich' trio.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--B1cjCTZdmE/X6l4Y4gQMkI/AAAAAAAADXw/ogMIa07Zw2IDcSBE-coVczUwXptQdocXQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5054.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1365" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--B1cjCTZdmE/X6l4Y4gQMkI/AAAAAAAADXw/ogMIa07Zw2IDcSBE-coVczUwXptQdocXQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5054.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ijwvQFWNpvw/X6l4Y-uhcoI/AAAAAAAADX0/dQyCdOL0OccCKksKWh3P9R_5fq3iTXEawCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5062.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ijwvQFWNpvw/X6l4Y-uhcoI/AAAAAAAADX0/dQyCdOL0OccCKksKWh3P9R_5fq3iTXEawCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5062.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k_CoTL_2Vjo/X6l4Y5P8f_I/AAAAAAAADX4/528wTXw228keWHf7XmST-W8J6h_hO7kvACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5064.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-k_CoTL_2Vjo/X6l4Y5P8f_I/AAAAAAAADX4/528wTXw228keWHf7XmST-W8J6h_hO7kvACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5064.JPG" /></a></div><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">It was a huge surprise to find out that some bath fizzers were included in this collection! I think this is a new addition to Revolution's ever growing product range so I'm really intrigued to see how they work. There's 4 fizzers in this collection, a marshmallow scented mug, a lavender scented Marcel (Ross's monkey), a strawberry scented lobster and a mango scented taxi. At £5 each these would make great stocking fillers or secret santa presents, and the packaging is just so cute!</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--rubuxqpjkY/X6l6BM-QfTI/AAAAAAAADYI/eqISFNg-PZQqGSSH0waDuA-L92AOp3jMQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5075.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--rubuxqpjkY/X6l6BM-QfTI/AAAAAAAADYI/eqISFNg-PZQqGSSH0waDuA-L92AOp3jMQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5075.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dvZq0Mln-Ag/X6l6JwkN3kI/AAAAAAAADYM/BCearacBr908jBkrwsDQFAwqdse2JOQRQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5083.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1659" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dvZq0Mln-Ag/X6l6JwkN3kI/AAAAAAAADYM/BCearacBr908jBkrwsDQFAwqdse2JOQRQCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5083.JPG" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>And of course, what would a Friends collection be without some coffee themed products in honour of Central Perk?! I've actually never had coffee scented skincare products before and I've apparently been missing out. I knew that coffee scrubs have been a trend for a while as coffee is amazing for exfoliating the skin and can also naturally firm the skin, so I can imagine this ingredient in a body butter as well makes a winning combination. And I haven't even got on to the best part yet... the coffee scrub comes in a REUSABLE COFFEE CUP! Such a genius idea.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R2EkY-IaU8Y/X6l6T5kWwVI/AAAAAAAADYU/yve7bY6ImLsw6zGpePY4vA4zyEYYEfqRgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_5103.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1365" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-R2EkY-IaU8Y/X6l6T5kWwVI/AAAAAAAADYU/yve7bY6ImLsw6zGpePY4vA4zyEYYEfqRgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_5103.JPG" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">However, my favourite products in the Central Perk inspired range has got to be the latte flavoured lip mask and lip scrub. A good skincare routine is better than any primer on the market and I'm always on the look out for skincare products that will give me a gorgeous glow, so when Antipodes got in touch and asked if I'd like to try their Manuka Honey Heroes Beehive box I jumped at the chance.<div><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-x1INkH96iDk/X3NJnp6sFGI/AAAAAAAADVs/frxWz-rWT6EU7Nc9iztrepXNxIZ2ia5vACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4874.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-x1INkH96iDk/X3NJnp6sFGI/AAAAAAAADVs/frxWz-rWT6EU7Nc9iztrepXNxIZ2ia5vACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4874.jpg" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>One of the things I love most about skincare is the science behind it - why certain ingredients are used and what benefits they give. One of the main ingredients in this set is Manuka Honey which can only be found and sourced in New Zealand. Manuka Honey is an antibacterial superfood that promotes a youthful complexion and a healthy glow. It also helps to clear blemishes while nourishing, which is exactly what my skin needed at the moment!</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LbpImKq4Py4/X3NJ1M_Fh2I/AAAAAAAADV0/C0gPEbZNTAIMGTPj3rpQMfZpxMpj33ZqACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4891.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1365" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LbpImKq4Py4/X3NJ1M_Fh2I/AAAAAAAADV0/C0gPEbZNTAIMGTPj3rpQMfZpxMpj33ZqACLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4891.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tblMCDcFeDk/X3NJ1DuJ68I/AAAAAAAADVw/214Rp5Evnp0a1AMSNtf1FRyY_RJ_TjslgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4879.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-tblMCDcFeDk/X3NJ1DuJ68I/AAAAAAAADVw/214Rp5Evnp0a1AMSNtf1FRyY_RJ_TjslgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4879.jpg" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>This trio also features the antioxidant extracts Vinanza Grape & Kiwi which is clinically proven to brighten skin, this is especially good for the eye cream, <i>bye bye dark circles!</i></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xTuN6bjDli8/X3NKI3YASBI/AAAAAAAADWI/lK4n0bF-qD4bnMQpr9CrbQNfIcnUpeyZwCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4894.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1424" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xTuN6bjDli8/X3NKI3YASBI/AAAAAAAADWI/lK4n0bF-qD4bnMQpr9CrbQNfIcnUpeyZwCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4894.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">When I opened up the 'Beehive Box' I was impressed with how beautiful the packaging was while still being as eco-friendly as possible, with the products being able to slot in perfectly so there is less waste. I personally have combination skin which can go more on the dry side, so I've been using the Light Day Cream daily and then the Aura mask when I want to give my skin a deeper nourishment. I also love that this range has been helping me tackle my mask-ne (ugh) as I've been having huge breakouts on my chin, so it's nice to use a moisturizer that you know won't clog up your pores or make the breakout worse.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NRcIRk-QWaY/X3NLVFbZMlI/AAAAAAAADWk/8XfEPRHFohAcDbB86LH2WysembzslNafgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4883.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1365" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NRcIRk-QWaY/X3NLVFbZMlI/AAAAAAAADWk/8XfEPRHFohAcDbB86LH2WysembzslNafgCLcBGAsYHQ/s16000/IMG_4883.jpg" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>Each product gives off a fresh but sweet scent from the honey combined with the vanilla pod and mandarin that is also mixed in. I've really enjoyed trying out Antipodes' Manuka Honey Heroes box and these products are now a staple in my skincare routine. If you've been following this blog for a while you'll know that I always come out with the old nutshell "I really didn't need another eyeshadow palette", but when I saw Too Faced's latest launch it wasn't a want, it was a <i>need</i>.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vPrp-j0CrxM/XzaU7BmCtHI/AAAAAAAADTE/6RyjPNFKRRYS8eH8LQY_MsF9Bem5K5J0ACLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4337.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vPrp-j0CrxM/XzaU7BmCtHI/AAAAAAAADTE/6RyjPNFKRRYS8eH8LQY_MsF9Bem5K5J0ACLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4337.JPG" /></a></div><div><div><br /></div><div>When I saw Too Faced were releasing a new all neutral palette I was so excited. If you're an OG then you will know my first eyeshadow palette review was on Too Faced's <a href="https://www.justlucyslife.co.uk/2016/04/too-faced-chocolate-bon-bons-eyeshadow.html" target="_blank">Chocolate Bon Bon's</a> palette (ah, the nostalgia) and my love for the TF eyeshadow formula has stayed true over the years. The shades blend out so softly, are buildable, the shimmers give the perfect pop and there's little to no fall out.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ivFSic2OcxQ/XzaVMZmOYTI/AAAAAAAADTM/tpozHSxt0kkcfAdD6SvRYAti-WGbFstUQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4331.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ivFSic2OcxQ/XzaVMZmOYTI/AAAAAAAADTM/tpozHSxt0kkcfAdD6SvRYAti-WGbFstUQCLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4331.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1dbIe64vrE8/XzaVMpeALcI/AAAAAAAADTQ/a9S3UiEmdNAmOoKr90Yn_h6id2oTb0RcgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4335.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1dbIe64vrE8/XzaVMpeALcI/AAAAAAAADTQ/a9S3UiEmdNAmOoKr90Yn_h6id2oTb0RcgCLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4335.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>This palette is full of neutrals suitable for all skin tones which I really liked about this palette, it's inclusive but I also knew looking at it that I would use every single shade. With a spectrum of light to dark shades with a mix of mattes and shimmers, there really is something for everyone. There's also a range of warm and cool tones, personally I normally use warm tones as I feel it suits my complexion better, but I've also dipped into a few of the cooler shades and have really liked them.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_NLVq-4RMi4/XzaVXLG0EAI/AAAAAAAADTY/bNDdwXQ9Mw4IIt5Rv2JYGT5SP4mY8y0FQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4345.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_NLVq-4RMi4/XzaVXLG0EAI/AAAAAAAADTY/bNDdwXQ9Mw4IIt5Rv2JYGT5SP4mY8y0FQCLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4345.JPG" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PXBgHNa_WiA/XzaVWyvG3hI/AAAAAAAADTU/wyefzRc55OEBGEkNZWr2vOsWI2k4SLkoQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4412.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PXBgHNa_WiA/XzaVWyvG3hI/AAAAAAAADTU/wyefzRc55OEBGEkNZWr2vOsWI2k4SLkoQCLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4412.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>My go-to look for everyday make up is a neutral shade all over the crease and a shimmer blended on the lid, simple but classic and gives more definition to your eyes. This palette is perfect for that and I can mix and match all of the shades to create different but subtle soft glam looks. I've also changed up my routine a bit since using this palette and have started making a soft wing with the darkest matte shade 'Truffle' and an angled brush. I've found this lengthens my eyes and gives me that 'fox eye' look without it over powering the colour on my lid (hooded eye problems, ugh) and it also takes a lot less time than a normal wing would, win-win!</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZkV0EsJkSA8/XzaVgEqzWjI/AAAAAAAADTk/2pyqw8HsVic-L6nFZNJm2B24sIhCDBz6gCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/IMG_4332.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1365" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZkV0EsJkSA8/XzaVgEqzWjI/AAAAAAAADTk/2pyqw8HsVic-L6nFZNJm2B24sIhCDBz6gCLcBGAsYHQ/d/IMG_4332.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>My favourite shimmer shades to use so far have been Sparkling Sand, Rose Gold and Golden Light, Golden Light especially just gives the most amazing, sun-kissed, golden glow, perfect for summer! And my favourite matte shades to dip into are Seashell, Petal, Maple and Truffle. Although, I can honestly say that I would use any shade in this palette without a doubt.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>What are you thoughts on Too Faced's latest release - does it sound like your cup of tea or do you prefer a bit more colour?</div></div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Let me know in the comments!</div><div><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Lucy x</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><i>Where else to find me:</i><br /><div><i> <a href="https://www.instagram.com/justlucyslife/" target="_blank">Instagram</a> </i><span face="" style="background-color: white; color: #545454; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">♡</span><i> <a href="https://twitter.com/justlucyslife" target="_blank">Twitter</a> </i><span face="" style="background-color: white; color: #545454; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">♡</span><i> <a href="https://www.facebook.com/justlucyslife/" target="_blank">Facebook</a> </i><span face="" style="background-color: white; color: #545454; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: x-small; text-align: left;">♡</span><i> <a href="https://www.bloglovin.com/blogs/just-lucys-life-14474051" target="_blank">Bloglovin'</a> </i></div></div>Lucyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01650627442869558531noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1523265265971227577.post-18527389855970397922020-07-08T16:35:00.001+01:002020-07-08T16:35:55.150+01:00Five Disney+ Original Shows You Need To Watch<div style="text-align: center;">As if my love for Disney wasn't already big enough, Disney+ has definitely only made that love grow. This docu-series follows the journey of the Disneyland parks, from Walt's initial idea to build a park that brings magic to life, to seeing the parks we all know and love today. It also shows us the hard work that is involved in creating these parks from the 'Imagineers' - Disney's version of engineers. I really enjoyed seeing the thought process behind certain rides, the decision making on how the parks are laid out to make visitors feel like they are in a familiar yet new space, and most of all how the main motive behind anything Disney is creating happiness. If anything, this series has made me even more eager to book my next Disney trip.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">F A I R Y T A L E W E D D I N G S</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">This series is so cheesy but definitely a guilty pleasure. Fairytale Weddings is a series that follows couples who have their wedding at Disney parks around the world, and some of the productions that Disney can do for these couples to make their wedding day truly magical is just out of this world. My favourite features so far are a full light show on the Animal Kingdom tree after the couple were officially announced man & wife, and also the lucky couple that had the fireworks show put on just for them in a private viewing in front of the castle.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">A S S E M B L I N G A U N I V E R S E</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">If you're as big a Marvel fan as I am then this short documentary is definitely for you. This feature runs through the journey of bringing the Marvel universe together and how they cleverly interlinked every storyline of the Marvel superheroes to ultimately lead up to the Avengers. I also discovered that Jon Favreau, who played Happy in the Iron Man films, actually also directed the first and second Iron Man film, I can't believe I never knew that! Although I think this documentary was made a few years ago as the timeline ends at the first Guardians Of The Galaxy, I'd still recommend it. Fingers crossed they do a follow up talking about the Thanos era and the lead up to it!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I N T O T H E U N K N O W N : M A K I N G F R O Z E N 2</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I binge watched this series in a full day. Frozen is without a doubt one of my favourite Disney creations, and this docu-series takes us behind the scenes following the count down to the release of Frozen 2. You see everything from the actors recording their songs/lines, the story writing, the animation process, the problems the faced, the motive behind certain scenes and songs, the character building - everything! I loved seeing how they created the magic of Frozen 2, so if you love the films as much as me then I would definitely recommend you check this one out. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Z E N I M A T I O N</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I didn't know what to expect from this series but I was pleasantly surprised. Each episode is only about 5 minutes long but focuses on only the relaxing sounds and animations from Disney films, old and new. ASMR isn't usually my thing, but I found these episodes great for when I was having a stressful day or if my anxiety was flaring up, as it makes you sit down and really focus on your senses, and I did feel a lot more 'zen' after them.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I hope this has given you some inspiration for your next Disney+ watch, I can't wait to see what else they bring out in the Disney Original genre.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">What's been your favourite thing to watch over lockdown? In the past few years the beauty industry has seen eyeshadow palettes with every shade of the rainbow, which I love but personally I don't wear bright colours everyday. So I was thrilled to hear that Tati was bringing out a palette full of wearable neutral shades, with a twist...</div><div><br /></div><div>There a 6 shades in total - Memory, Ritual, Story, Soothe, Aura & Poet. Each shade also comes in 4 different finishes - Matte, Sequin, Metallic & Glitter. I love the idea of different finishes of each shade, you then know you have the perfect shimmer shade to go with your matte, but they also mix and match really well.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oQzjNcMCgpA/XtpWSGkcBJI/AAAAAAAADMU/9130VpUd7AsKxm-Pq2qBX6cRez8OgN-oQCK4BGAsYHg/s6000/IMG_4222.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="6000" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oQzjNcMCgpA/XtpWSGkcBJI/AAAAAAAADMU/9130VpUd7AsKxm-Pq2qBX6cRez8OgN-oQCK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4222.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vIgwB-fp7Rw/XtpWamyIfRI/AAAAAAAADMg/t-SZ87CX7nkQoWT1Y5SUM9ZVg8NrONE5wCK4BGAsYHg/s5847/IMG_4212.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="5847" data-original-width="3898" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vIgwB-fp7Rw/XtpWamyIfRI/AAAAAAAADMg/t-SZ87CX7nkQoWT1Y5SUM9ZVg8NrONE5wCK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4212.JPG" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>The matte shades are gorgeous, they're buttery soft and blend so well. Each shade seems to compliment my eyes really nicely. You also only need to lightly dab your brush in the pan and you get major colour pay off as they're so pigmented, so you get more use for your money. I'd go as far as to say they are the best matte formula in eyeshadows that I have ever tried, even competing with my beloved Jeffree Star palettes, and as you can see the shade Soothe is definitely my most loved. </div><div><br /></div><div>The sequin shades are so unique and different to anything else in my collection. Each one features the matte shade with bright, glittery specks throughout, perfect for when you want a bit of sparkle without going full on metallic. The shade Poet especially stands out to me with a pink base and blue toned glitter, and also Aura with a light peach coloured based and pink glitter. The only downfall about this shade is that although I've never tried it myself, apparently if you try to blend out the sequin shades the glitter can go.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--yn2GgO4Adg/XtpWoP55XFI/AAAAAAAADM0/gXBB-bFifRA_7S9BEvc3ZRlj3K8kWbocQCK4BGAsYHg/s6000/IMG_4216.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="6000" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--yn2GgO4Adg/XtpWoP55XFI/AAAAAAAADM0/gXBB-bFifRA_7S9BEvc3ZRlj3K8kWbocQCK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4216.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ub4nuc2fk94/XtpWvYUuANI/AAAAAAAADNE/rod7RkcUbygY2AHwygcBk_CbLz0NBvpEQCK4BGAsYHg/s5847/IMG_4208.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3898" data-original-width="5847" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Ub4nuc2fk94/XtpWvYUuANI/AAAAAAAADNE/rod7RkcUbygY2AHwygcBk_CbLz0NBvpEQCK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4208.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>The metallic shades are probably my favourite finishes in this palette. My go-to's are Ritual and Story, they are perfect on the lid for an everyday soft glam look. They look so pretty when the light catches them and all shades really make your eyes pop. Aura in Metallic is also lovely on the inner corner of your eye and on your brow bone. </div><div><br /></div><div>The glitter shades are super bright and eye-catching. I must admit, they don't apply perfectly, there can be a bit of fall out, however that's to be expected with a chunky glitter formula so compared to others of that kind of formula that I've tried in the past, they are probably the best - and you don't need glitter glue to make them stay, just a spritz of setting spray. I used the glitter shades on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and NYE and I felt like they were the perfect sparkle for a special occasion or a full glam look.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fgj0oqst-X4/XtpW6Rr4DBI/AAAAAAAADNU/B57sxbHQIBQogIOMxbIgfinrQaFjYjcvQCK4BGAsYHg/s6000/IMG_4218.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="6000" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fgj0oqst-X4/XtpW6Rr4DBI/AAAAAAAADNU/B57sxbHQIBQogIOMxbIgfinrQaFjYjcvQCK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4218.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yLMJqbacOAE/XtpXCarhWaI/AAAAAAAADNo/oroirbgFLSo7j6LWvA9fT9iDQUUC5YgYACK4BGAsYHg/s6000/IMG_4240.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="6000" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-yLMJqbacOAE/XtpXCarhWaI/AAAAAAAADNo/oroirbgFLSo7j6LWvA9fT9iDQUUC5YgYACK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4240.JPG" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Moving onto the packaging, the palette offers a very luxurious feel with a soft matte texture and it's sleek, slim package, although soft matte is hard to clean so the palette can end up looking quite dirty quite fast, but that's not something that bothers me personally. I love that on the edge it says 'Tati Beauty Vol 1', I can imagine that looking amazing with palettes stacked up next to each other, almost like a book collection, as the range grows. There's also a decent sized mirror that covers pretty much the whole inside of the lid on the palette making it great for travel or on-the-go. </div><div><div><br /></div><div>Overall, I really love this palette and it has quickly become one of the most used in my collection. From a natural day time look to a full glam night time look, this palette has it all. I can't wait to see what else Tati has in store for Tati Beauty.</div></div><div><br /></div><div>Have you tried anything from Tati Beauty yet, or would you like to? With it's ever changing algorithm that seems to change monthly, it's almost impossible to know exactly what to do to successfully grow your account. </div><div><br /></div><div>I actually gave up with Instagram last year as I felt I didn't know my place on it anymore and I didn't understand what made it tick, but since lockdown began I've gotten back into it and now it's probably my favourite social media platform again. This post isn't a quick fix for hundreds of followers and likes, but there's a few small changes I've made since getting back into Instagram which has lead to gradual growth in followers, likes and engagement; and most importantly I'm enjoying using it again!</div><div><br /></div><div>First of all, <i>follow people who's content you love</i>. I had a complete clear out of who I was following as when I went back to Instagram I found that half of the people I followed didn't really post anymore and a chunk of the accounts just weren't my cup of tea. I like to follow beauty, fitness and lifestyle accounts that are also relatable, so I actually unfollowed a few 'bigger' accounts and went in search to find some 'smaller' accounts, and it was a huge success! Now I go on my feed and feel inspired and can relate to the people I follow, meaning I enjoy the content more and am therefore using Instagram more again.</div><div><br /></div><div>Share the love - firstly, <i>like creator's pictures</i>! It takes two seconds but means a lot to the person who probably spent a long time creating and editing that picture. Secondly, <i>leave them a comment</i>! Reply to their caption, give them advice or a recommendation, tell them what you love about the photo, tell them how good they look. Everyone appreciates a compliment and you never know, your comment could be the little pick me up they might of been needing. It also helps engagement for them and you. The lovely Sarah from <a href="https://plainsarahjayne.com/" target="_blank">Plain Sarah Jane</a> gave me some good advice when it comes to Instagram and one of the main tips was that basically the more you put into Instagram, the more you get out of it. I've even found a few people have followed me after I've left a comment as they've obviously seen the comment and checked out my account, and a lot of the accounts I leave likes/comments for end up liking/commenting back sometimes, so it's a win, win situation really!</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NAsQGiDju0g/XtOLQd3xsxI/AAAAAAAADK0/cRDtkW2nGRs61NIHJdjglf1JM4POPhO3ACK4BGAsYHg/IMG_4144%2B2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3027" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NAsQGiDju0g/XtOLQd3xsxI/AAAAAAAADK0/cRDtkW2nGRs61NIHJdjglf1JM4POPhO3ACK4BGAsYHg/d/IMG_4144%2B2.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div>Make sure to <i>stay active on your stories</i>. Not only does this keep your audience engaged, it helps to keep your account visible in the algorithm. Even if you don't post on your feed that day, you stories will keep you audience active. I've also found that stories are a great way to show your followers a more personal side of you, rather than the 'picture perfect feed' you. I now quite often hop on my stories and have a chatty catch up/conversation make up free and it's great. No pressure, quick to do and you get to engage with your audience more. I've formed more friendships on insta through this after people have messaged me from my stories. For example, if I've asked for haircare recommendations people have messaged me with products they love. I find it helps to use polls and question boxes to really get your followers involved and to boost engagement.</div><div><br /></div><div>My last tip is to make sure your posts are reaching a bigger potential for likes and reach, and that is to <i>research your hashtags</i>! I used to just use general beauty hashtags on every post (as I'm a beauty blogger) that all had millions of people using them. Then I switched to more niche hashtags that represent that particular post with a lower reach and they have helped some of my posts reach thousands of people, when they used to stay in the hundreds. For example, if my post features Disney then I will use a bunch of Disney hashtags, if my post features skincare then I will use a bunch of skincare hashtags, and so on and so on. Think about it like this, the bigger the hashtag the more likely your post is to get lost in the many posts that have also used that same hashtag, whereas if you use a smaller, more niche hashtag your post is more likely to be seen. A handy way to find similar hashtags that relate to your post is to search a particular hashtag and then look at the hashtags in the 'Related:' section.</div><div><br /></div><div>I hope these tips have given you some inspiration to improve your experience on Instagram. Sure it's amazing to build those numbers, but it's also just as important that you enjoy using the platform as well! I'm always looking for new accounts to follow and if you want to find me on Instagram I'm @justlucyslife.</div><div><br /></div><div>What are your thoughts on Instagram? Love it or hate it? If anything, I feel like I'll be coming out of this in a more positive mind state and grateful for the smaller things - that is the silver lining in all of this chaos. So, here's 10 things that lockdown has made me realise...</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">1. Family and friends really are the most important thing.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">2. Although I have a love/hate relationship with it, technology is one of the best things to ever happen to us. I feel so lucky that I can video chat my family and friends at the tap of a button, even if I can't see them in person.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">3. I need to stop wasting my money on unnecessary things, I've barely spent a penny during lockdown apart from my usual bills.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">4. I'm so grateful to have the amazing friends that I do. It's nice to know you have someone to lean on when times are tough.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">5. Sometimes it's ok to do nothing. You don't always have to be productive if it doesn't improve how you feel. Take some time out to focus on yourself. Be kind to yourself.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">6. I don't need to take amazing pictures in big cities or spend loads of money to make my Instagram look good, I have all I need for great content lying in my house.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">7. Small things/achievements can make you just as happy as the big ones. It's important to celebrate the small wins and appreciate the little things.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">8. The pressure I put myself under is completely unnecessary. I'm actually far more creative and productive when I'm not stressing about it, sometimes I need to take a step back and remember everyone is on a different path, and if you preserver then hard work will eventually pay off.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">9. Exercise has a huge impact on my mental health. Even if I just get myself out for a walk I'll always feel better for it, so I need to keep in the routine of doing some form of weekly exercise.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">10. If you're struggling with your mental health, TALK TO SOMEONE. Motivation can be hard to find sometimes, especially under recent circumstances, but I've found some ways to spark inspiration and to give me motivation, even when I feel like I'm seriously lacking a 'can-do' attitude, and it's lead me to be so productive and more creative. So, today I thought I'd share these tips with you all to hopefully help if you feel like you're in a bit of a lockdown slump.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9uQKkZ9n-6g/Xqw4YRGh-cI/AAAAAAAADIM/5OV5h39Y3fsrivf86AVrTvn4toPjIHSigCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_30-04-2020-20-46-46.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9uQKkZ9n-6g/Xqw4YRGh-cI/AAAAAAAADIM/5OV5h39Y3fsrivf86AVrTvn4toPjIHSigCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_30-04-2020-20-46-46.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
LOOK FOR A POSITIVE</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I know sometimes this is easier said than done, and trust me I need to take my own advice with this one sometimes, but recently every time I've lacked the motivation or am worrying about something I've tried to find a positive spin to turn it around such as - 'I might not feel like doing this exercise but I know I will feel great after' or 'I'm a bit anxious about driving today but if I put on my Disney playlist I know I'll enjoy it more.' </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
TAKE A BREAK</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If I feel like some work is stressing me out or I'm having a bit of a creative block, I'll take a break and come back to it. Sometimes I'll make a cup of tea with some biscuits, watch a youtube video or even do a bit of skincare. A small break can help you go back into something with a more positive mindset. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOV9D5vaKE4/Xqw4YlTCgrI/AAAAAAAADIQ/FuiIMx5XjIQINard78kkBA2lEiyKAeSBwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3811.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1433" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOV9D5vaKE4/Xqw4YlTCgrI/AAAAAAAADIQ/FuiIMx5XjIQINard78kkBA2lEiyKAeSBwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3811.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
WRITE A 'TO DO' LIST</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Set yourself a 'to-do' list for the next day so you have something to get up for. I've been doing this myself recently and, even in lockdown, it's really helped me get into a good routine. Even if it's something as simple as taking photo's for instagram, as long as I know I have something to work towards and to put effort into it helps me stay focused and motivated. Plus, ticking all those little tasks off my to-do list is a fab feeling of accomplishment.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
SET AN ALARM</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now I'm not saying you have to get up at the crack of dawn because as much as I wish I was, I'm not a morning person. However I always set an alarm even when I'm just going to be in the house all day, because getting up at a reasonable time seems to give me a better start to the day and makes me feel more productive as opposed to sleeping in until midday and feeling like I've already wasted half of the day before I've even got out of bed.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dDuVOL30wyg/Xqw4Yoc3B2I/AAAAAAAADIU/kR9j8V2JraQtj4_oHnVZ4B1gQ6uRvFT7QCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3809.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dDuVOL30wyg/Xqw4Yoc3B2I/AAAAAAAADIU/kR9j8V2JraQtj4_oHnVZ4B1gQ6uRvFT7QCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3809.JPG" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
DON'T PUT TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON YOURSELF</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One of my biggest toxic traits is putting imaginary pressure on myself that is totally unnecessary and I've found that when I take that pressure away and just sit back to do something purely for the enjoyment of it, I work a lot better and I'm way more productive. And of course, I enjoy it more! So instead of thinking about the 101 things you need to do, try thinking about it like 'I'll set myself this to do today, and this if I get round to it but it's ok if I don't'.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
BLAST SOME TUNES </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Music is a must when I'm working on something. Whether it's a blog post or uni work, it gets me through and lifts my spirit. My personal favourites are Disney songs, 5SOS and 80s classics.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope this post has given you a few tips to help kick start some inspiration for yourself if lockdown has put a cloud over your motivation.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Movies and TV Shows have always been my favourite form of escapism. When you don't like what's going on in your own world you can jump into another one, and when the credits are rolling I always feel like my mood has improved, even just the tiniest bit.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
With all the craziness going on in the world right now and most people self isolating, I thought now was the perfect time to compile a list of my favourite movies and binge worthy series to save some boredom during this time! So if you're looking for a new watch to get lost in, here's some to add to your list...</div>

When I was younger I used to think I'd have it all figured out by the time I was 21, but now I'm nearly 24 and still don't know where exactly my life is heading, and I'm learning that's ok.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7MxCMiv2WRg/XlRV6UxKHCI/AAAAAAAADG8/dMiux_Rrn2YH34ccASg0M5pHL-kTKS6YACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/258C758F-877A-4CCA-8C6A-1BC4007D1BAE.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7MxCMiv2WRg/XlRV6UxKHCI/AAAAAAAADG8/dMiux_Rrn2YH34ccASg0M5pHL-kTKS6YACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/258C758F-877A-4CCA-8C6A-1BC4007D1BAE.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm usually the girl who always likes to have a solid plan, but since graduating from uni I'm kind of floating with the current, seeing what opportunities I come across. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since graduating it's been a real rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions. Seeing my friends smashing their career goals is amazing to see, but also makes me feel like I'm falling behind at times. I used to think that after uni I should go straight into a grad job and start my career, but then I figured I've got the rest of my life to build a career.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm finding my twenties to really be shaping who I am as a person. Once you're alone you start to think about what you really want in life, and the truth is I don't want a full time career just yet. I have a great work ethic and I know when the time comes I will give it my all, but at least for the next year or so I want to take some time out to figure out who I am as a person. I'm a little bit lost, and I need to find myself.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pUxDiwLD7t8/XlRV6G1SsxI/AAAAAAAADG4/_RsW9GN9IjA6TKBJWPK6KwVQZpAeF2cZACEwYBhgL/s1600/438DDB12-3977-4590-B6B1-6543C0DAD373.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1280" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pUxDiwLD7t8/XlRV6G1SsxI/AAAAAAAADG4/_RsW9GN9IjA6TKBJWPK6KwVQZpAeF2cZACEwYBhgL/s1600/438DDB12-3977-4590-B6B1-6543C0DAD373.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've also realised that there is beauty in not having it all figured out. It opens doors for you to do basically whatever you want to do. The top priority on my wish list is saving to do some travelling. I want to see some beautiful places and have amazing stories to tell. I also have the possibility of going on to do a Masters degree this Autumn, and the course I've got my eye on not only sounds super exciting but it also means I'd be giving the city life a go for a year, which would definitely be an adventure having only ever lived in a small town! Sometimes trying something new, and stepping out of your comfort zone, can open a world of opportunities you never thought were possible before. The world is honestly your oyster.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've figured that your twenties are the time to explore, figure it out. Make mistakes and then make some more. There's too much pressure to be perfect nowadays with the highlight reel that is social media, constantly comparing other's achievements to your own, but the truth is most the time the people who look like they've got it all together are actually winging it just as much as you are.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7gefBRZGg5M/XlRV6V4hY7I/AAAAAAAADHA/gweKc_yH3W0apsyVm5NqSG6AOsxLdclagCEwYBhgL/s1600/903DA5E0-D968-436E-B363-E7B81B5ACE95.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1280" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7gefBRZGg5M/XlRV6V4hY7I/AAAAAAAADHA/gweKc_yH3W0apsyVm5NqSG6AOsxLdclagCEwYBhgL/s1600/903DA5E0-D968-436E-B363-E7B81B5ACE95.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm also learning not to feel like time is slipping away. I'm 23 and I have days where I feel like time is running out to make something of myself, but then I take a step back and remind myself that we are all on different paths and I still have plenty of time. I'm not a failure, I just haven't got to where I need to be yet. Some people go straight into work after uni, only to decide a few years down the line they want a career change and have to start all over again. Some people would rather explore some parts of the world than settle down in a full time job. Some people can't wait to be full time and get a house and start a family. Everyone is different, and it's all about figuring out what <i>you</i> want and what will make <i>you</i> happy. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Because in the end, that's all we really want to be isn't it? Happy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, 2019, I don't really know where to start with you. You've been one of the best yet also one of the worst years of my life, although I'm glad to say I'm finishing on more of a high.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my 'goodbye 2018' blog <a href="https://www.justlucyslife.co.uk/2019/01/reflecting-on-last-year-what-im-looking.html" target="_blank">post</a>, I talked about how I was feeling more confident and how I was cutting out toxic people, and 2019 has been a bit more of the same.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm proud to say I've kept up my fitness and in 2020 I have so many new goals set for myself, including going for banging abs and being able to do not only one rep, but a <i>full set</i> of pull ups. My little (but slowly growing) biceps can't handle one pull up at the moment, so a set would be a huge achievement.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3A074bOCvY/Xhd5sWI8vrI/AAAAAAAADFI/NsCD_s5gYoI2yDTpeYbw7yGcdEY_0BAaQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/202BCEA0-CE1F-4E92-B219-EBD5FBEA565E.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1280" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Q3A074bOCvY/Xhd5sWI8vrI/AAAAAAAADFI/NsCD_s5gYoI2yDTpeYbw7yGcdEY_0BAaQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/202BCEA0-CE1F-4E92-B219-EBD5FBEA565E.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also spoke about wanting to go travelling to places such as Thailand and Bali, and I'm pleased to say that's a bigger part of the plan than I was thinking of last year. I've finally decided that I just need to bite the bullet and do it. There's a whole world out there and if I'm being honest, I've never felt like I needed to get away from Middlesbrough so much than I do now. I want to meet new people and see amazing things. So, I've decided to save up and book onto some group tours. This way I would just have to do the flights by myself and then I can meet up with a bunch of (hopefully awesome) people and finally do the travelling thing. I feel like it's something I need to do to grow as a person and although it may be way out of my comfort zone, I know it will be worth it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Moving on to the reason why I want to get out of this small town for a while...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I won't lie, too many people let me down in 2019. I've learnt that I have to be quite brutal with who I keep in my life from now on, and that I need to focus on the people who really truly have my back. I constantly feel like I'm fighting a battle of people-pleasing and trying to see the best in people, but the truth is sometimes the best just isn't there. They act like they care. They say they wouldn't hurt you. They say they're your friend. Yet they throw you in the dirt. I've been let down way too many times by trusting the wrong people, both guys I've been seeing and friends, so in 2020 I'm only letting the best people in.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1sFaIfdyoII/Xhd5yZzvdCI/AAAAAAAADFQ/8KF_ctC3oMgHNQtWvkczpPYHRupjgL9KACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/A35F2166-DCBC-4907-B299-0C9C001AC0F1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1sFaIfdyoII/Xhd5yZzvdCI/AAAAAAAADFQ/8KF_ctC3oMgHNQtWvkczpPYHRupjgL9KACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/A35F2166-DCBC-4907-B299-0C9C001AC0F1.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
However, 2019 definitely wasn't all bad. I achieved so much! I <i>finally</i> passed my driving test, I graduated with a 2:1 and I even plucked up the courage to start my own online business (The Midnight Chapter) which I can't wait to see grow in 2020.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of 2020... Can you believe we're now in the 20s? This New Year felt like a real clean slate. New year, and new decade! So to celebrate, I've decided to make 20 goals for 2020:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
1. Be smarter with my money - this year I really want to get a grip on my finances and only pay for things I <i>really</i> need. I need to get out of the habit of buying a new outfit every time I go out and actually just buy staple everyday pieces.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2. Book to go travelling - It's something that terrifies me but something I want to do so badly at the same time, so I need to make sure I actually book those flights and get myself out to see some beautiful sights my bucket list destinations have to offer. 3 places that are at the top of my list are Bali, Thailand and Iceland.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
3. Blog more - I haven't found the time to create content for my blog this past year and in 2020 that's going to change. I'm going back old school, chatty posts, creative content and make up reviews!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
4. Get back into a gym routine- my aim is to go at least 3 days a week.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
5. Grow my business/brand - if you follow me on twitter (@justlucyslife) then you may have seen that I've started my own online boutique! I now have a little treasure trove of mugs, jewellery, trinket dishes and much more, go to @themidnightchapter on instagram or like 'The Midnight Chapter' on facebook if you wanna take a look.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
6. Be more care free - it's easier than it sounds, but I just need to stop caring what other people think and stop saying sorry every other sentence.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
7. Read a book - a challenge I think most people set themselves in the new year, but it's been so long since I've read a full book, so I'm getting myself down to Waterstone's!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
8. Clear out my wardrobe - Narnia could be at the back of that thing for all I know. It's full to the brim of stuff I just don't need so this year it's getting organised!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
9. Drink more water - again, quite a cliche one, but I always drink endless cups of tea and forget to drink just a glass of water.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Le7rVOayDps/Xhd542LW-gI/AAAAAAAADFU/hngmUbKEdOsr4bNYi2IXI33Pm010jvrmQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_06-12-2019-22-43-32.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Le7rVOayDps/Xhd542LW-gI/AAAAAAAADFU/hngmUbKEdOsr4bNYi2IXI33Pm010jvrmQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_06-12-2019-22-43-32.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
10. Stop doubting myself - I really am my own worst enemy and I need to stop being so harsh on myself, I achieved a lot in 2019 and I need to remember to celebrate both big and small wins.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
11. Go to the gym make up free - This is such a huge insecurity of mine and one I aim to beat. My skin can get breakouts because I refuse to go to the gym without make up on, but (going with my more care free goal) I'm going to try and feel comfortable in the gym without make up. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
12. Finish my uni scrapbook - I have a scrapbook that I started to look back on my 3 years at uni and I need to add my final year photos to it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
13. Keep in touch with friends - I am the WORST texter. I'm one of those people where I read a message then reply to it within 3-5 working days, but that needs to stop as it stops me seeing my friends as much as I could. 2020 is the year of arranging catch up coffee's, brunches, cinema trips and cocktail nights.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
14. Be more organised - quite a general one but I improved on my organisation a lot last year and I intend to improve it even more this year, basically, I just want an excuse to buy more pretty stationary.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
15. Stop saying sorry when I don't need to - again, kind of the same as number 6.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
16. Be more selfish - I'm going to be more selfish with my time, who I have around me, what I want to do.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
17. Say 'no' more - not as negative as it sounds, but I need to start saying no more. I always find myself in situations I don't want to be in just because I was being polite but it took me a while to realise that you can still be nice and still say no.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
18. Stop eating so much sugary stuff - of course I'll still have treats every now and then, but I need to stop eating chocolate-y things to get me through the day.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
19. Be more patient - although I like to say I have a long fuse, I can be short tempered in certain situations and I want to keep my cool a bit more.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
20. Be truly happy with myself - This is a big one, and I don't know if I can achieve it in a year, but I want to find myself this year and become happy with who I am instead of trying to be something I'm not and comparing myself to others.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you enjoyed this post, I'm excited to see what 2020 brings! And maybe my goals inspired you to add one to your list? Let me know what your goals are for 2020 in the comments, let's motivate each other!</div>

This is my favourite time of year for many reasons... blankets, hot chocolate, movie days, crisp air, autumn leaves and so much more! But most of all, I love the run up to the festive season. This is the time where you have catch ups with friends that have been away at uni, or where everyone gets together for the first time in months, both friends and family, to celebrate the festivities and to be together! So when Femme Luxe asked if I wanted to treat myself to some clothing from their website, I couldn't resist but get some gorgeous pieces for the party season!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PrA631YtCZU/XchQnOt6vEI/AAAAAAAADD8/qnNT0W-hqkMIMkzB5kjOl6a4WPp3iRqhQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-01-30.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PrA631YtCZU/XchQnOt6vEI/AAAAAAAADD8/qnNT0W-hqkMIMkzB5kjOl6a4WPp3iRqhQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-01-30.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First of all I chose this faux leather snake print corset top. I paired it with black jeans and strappy heels, but it would look amazing with some leather look leggings and a blazer! Leather style clothing can be tricky to buy online sometimes as I tend to find the material can have no stretch, but the material on this corset top is super soft and stretchy which I was very pleasantly surprised with.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FgUq4hLhpaQ/XchQkHgIIeI/AAAAAAAADD4/jKQJzSz2Qr40EBLmOoDCb4PgREbTGh-lwCEwYBhgL/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-17-57-54.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FgUq4hLhpaQ/XchQkHgIIeI/AAAAAAAADD4/jKQJzSz2Qr40EBLmOoDCb4PgREbTGh-lwCEwYBhgL/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-17-57-54.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZODo7LKBGos/XchQ17EqDLI/AAAAAAAADEE/ENiRY0vllMk55e1pUq4a0EH0CAzSYJg7wCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-22-03.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZODo7LKBGos/XchQ17EqDLI/AAAAAAAADEE/ENiRY0vllMk55e1pUq4a0EH0CAzSYJg7wCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-22-03.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Moving on to dresses, this one sleeved polka dot number is perfect for those occasions where you want to dress up a little but don't want to be <i>too</i> dressed up. I love the tie belt you get with this dress as it creates a nice silhouette. You could wear this dress with heels and a clutch bag for an evening look or tights and ankle boots through the day. I love having a versatile dress like this in my wardrobe!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-USbvvHeLRhY/XchQ8mxlt4I/AAAAAAAADEM/q24G4bftUkkNcSpKegwYyuKEQfQSA1ujwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-17-59-14.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-USbvvHeLRhY/XchQ8mxlt4I/AAAAAAAADEM/q24G4bftUkkNcSpKegwYyuKEQfQSA1ujwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-17-59-14.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next up, the party pieces that will turn heads! Red is always one of my favourite colours to wear in dresses and even more so in the festive season! This red <a href="https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/collections/bodycon-dresses" target="_blank">bodycon dress</a> is super flattering with the pleats on the top and across the stomach and I also love how the side piece of material totally transforms it to an elegant party dress! I think I'm going to wear this for my work's Christmas do with same gold heels and a matching clutch and I can't wait!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Pwu708E7FPY/XchREKRSvGI/AAAAAAAADEQ/j8xstY0mAl41VkArR09lkBHtAeSkzU-iQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-06-09.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Pwu708E7FPY/XchREKRSvGI/AAAAAAAADEQ/j8xstY0mAl41VkArR09lkBHtAeSkzU-iQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_08-11-2019-18-06-09.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also picked up this sparkly <a href="https://femmeluxefinery.co.uk/collections/mini-dresses" target="_blank">mini dress</a> that is black with a sheer overlay of sequinned material over it. This dress fits like a glove and I think it's perfect for those who prefer a LBD for a night out but still want a bit of sparkle. I think the dress is really classy yet still being a party dress and I know this will also be coming out with me for a cocktail or two this party season.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thank you so much to Femme Luxe for gifting me these pieces! Although they were gifted I am always honest on this blog and I would definitely recommend them for party outfits!<br />
<br />
I also want to thank Macy Brown's in Yarm for letting me shoot here. It's such a gorgeous cocktail bar with even better drinks so definitely pay them a visit if you're in the area!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, what kind of outfit do you go for in the festive season? Glammed up in a mini dress or comfy yet stylish? Let me know in the comments, I'd love to know!</div>

Well, we've now found out what happens when two of the biggest youtuber's release a collection together - a true internet explosion! There was no doubt that the collaboration between Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star was going to be highly anticipated, but I don't think anybody could of expected the absolute chaos that the internet saw on release day! However, after a <i>long </i>3 hours, I managed to get my hands on the 3 products I was desperate for from this collab.</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hWIEAY5Ixd4/XcP2kKwcgsI/AAAAAAAADCg/1AHEhIuIo0cl6VnQyd_qiMIcq5NWPZ6tACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3304.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hWIEAY5Ixd4/XcP2kKwcgsI/AAAAAAAADCg/1AHEhIuIo0cl6VnQyd_qiMIcq5NWPZ6tACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3304.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First of all, Shane and Jeffree are two of my favourite youtuber's. I love how much Jeffree breaks the boundaries of make up and he was the inspiration for me to start using colourful eyeshadows, and Shane totally changed the youtube game with his latest few series, so for me I knew this was something I wanted in my collection not only for the amazing shades but also as a collectors item.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've loved watching the process in Shane's docu-series of the making of this collection; from choosing the shades to the designs of the packaging, we've seen it all as the viewers! I think that's why this collection in particular has been so special because it's so personal and we've seen the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into making it. So, let's get into my thoughts...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--D6leBVOtfU/XcP21zbmruI/AAAAAAAADDY/zNp0Jz-tDCQdCHIO-fmL14G9WQ2kXdrZwCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3296.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--D6leBVOtfU/XcP21zbmruI/AAAAAAAADDY/zNp0Jz-tDCQdCHIO-fmL14G9WQ2kXdrZwCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3296.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'll start off with the product that I know everyone wants to hear about, <b>the</b> <b>Conspiracy palette</b>! First of all, I was pleased to see that the packaging is similar to the Blood Sugar palette. Ever since I bought Blood Sugar it still feels like such a luxury product to use and it's great for travel as it's so bulky so there's no fear that the shades will crack and it has a great sized mirror, so hopefully this palette will be just as good in that sense! I also love how they have so clearly incorporated both Shane and Jeffree's style with the design being quite out there but still looks really cool and nothing like ever before.</div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K2hr-AkV6uI/XcP21szwoKI/AAAAAAAADC0/na0yYXCryDwEhHRFoIxcHuczNfv_m3-CACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3293.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K2hr-AkV6uI/XcP21szwoKI/AAAAAAAADC0/na0yYXCryDwEhHRFoIxcHuczNfv_m3-CACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3293.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm also a really big fan of the colour story. As Jeffree explained in one of the episode, there really is something for everyone in here. The top row has got some amazing neutrals and transition shades that I know I'll be dipping into a lot, along with some pretty shimmers for a golden smokey look and 'Ranch' is a <i>stunning</i> inner corner/brow bone shade.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-enTRqDiLNkQ/XcP3A8WdBfI/AAAAAAAADDU/DgAc8SrEQRIDNJd_6Zy1Saus6LnNUj9mgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3311.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-enTRqDiLNkQ/XcP3A8WdBfI/AAAAAAAADDU/DgAc8SrEQRIDNJd_6Zy1Saus6LnNUj9mgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3311.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The middle row offers more experimental colours while still having some safe shades such as 'Pig-ment' and 'Conspiracy'. Personally I was so happy to see the bright orange 'Cheese Dust' and red 'Flaming Hot' as Blood Sugar got me into using bright warm shades, and I'm not normally a barbie shade of pink person but I can't <i>wait</i> to see how the shade 'Trisha' pops on the eyes as it's super shimmery.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JimPb6uBx1o/XcP2_2JhAjI/AAAAAAAADDk/5TS20WBDqXsICmigda2j3InzPpISQ-hpQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3309.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JimPb6uBx1o/XcP2_2JhAjI/AAAAAAAADDk/5TS20WBDqXsICmigda2j3InzPpISQ-hpQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3309.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The bottom row offers some more super pretty shimmers along with a gorgeous deep purple that's perfect for autumn/winter and a staple black shade. I also love the sage green shade named 'What's The Tea?' with the little teacup stamped in, although I might not use that shade too much. However, in the eye look below, I used 'Sleep Paralysis' with 'Diet Cola' in the very centre of my lid and I loved the way it created a space grey kind of look! I can tell you that although some of the shades do have a little fall out, most of them do resemble Jeffree's classic eyeshadow formula that you really can't fault.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CHc5pmGDD3I/XcP-es1zYDI/AAAAAAAADDs/LrZ6vbf-KlkZ-rhkzCfYZDnEv3ynhpcxgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_07-11-2019-10-27-37.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1203" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CHc5pmGDD3I/XcP-es1zYDI/AAAAAAAADDs/LrZ6vbf-KlkZ-rhkzCfYZDnEv3ynhpcxgCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_07-11-2019-10-27-37.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d_YnsW5hA24/XcP27HJyDhI/AAAAAAAADDk/fvpG6PU4bawXCYdR_8t-GUeTdnCoHS1CQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3305.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d_YnsW5hA24/XcP27HJyDhI/AAAAAAAADDk/fvpG6PU4bawXCYdR_8t-GUeTdnCoHS1CQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3305.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Overall I think the Conspiracy palette deserves all of the hype it received as it really is such a unique product that offers so many kind of looks and I can't wait to create different looks with it from soft glam to bright and out there. Moving on to the Mini Controversy...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n5JTioDq-fI/XcP21pKSNcI/AAAAAAAADDc/aPCE-xYHOGooG6OOddsiKha-pIvHni2MQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3289.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-n5JTioDq-fI/XcP21pKSNcI/AAAAAAAADDc/aPCE-xYHOGooG6OOddsiKha-pIvHni2MQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3289.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This was the first time I've purchased one of Jeffree's mini palette's and I wasn't disappointed. It still has a luxury feel to the packaging and I just love love love the static vibe they've gone for on the box packaging and then the holographic lines on the actual palette. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SWUdO-yyER4/XcP2v2VWDGI/AAAAAAAADDk/NmAK8R8pQXg3x2EIXrZqBk7BTswOokpFgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3285.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SWUdO-yyER4/XcP2v2VWDGI/AAAAAAAADDk/NmAK8R8pQXg3x2EIXrZqBk7BTswOokpFgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3285.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Again the shades in this palette offer more wearable shades and colourful shades. In Shane's docu-series Jeffree explained that he wants the shades in his palettes to be wearable staples but also encourage people to dip into colour, and I think that's exactly what these two palettes show. Mini Controversy has the 'Diet Root Beer' mocha brown shade that is also in the Conspiracy palette along with a light golden shade, some pastels, some bright blue's and purple and an absolutely stunning shimmer in 'My Apology' that I found was a really unique brown shade with a hint of purple in it when swatched. I love palettes like this for if you're travelling and don't have too much room but still want to take a palette with options, and it's also great for fans who want to experience the collection but more budget-friendly. This palette also has a mirror in as well, so again would be great to pop in your bag. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vur_GGRuzwU/XcP2v2IRI4I/AAAAAAAADDg/sw4SWmFMxLQd6O0CuIUhOkAvULuFWaSJQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3287.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Vur_GGRuzwU/XcP2v2IRI4I/AAAAAAAADDg/sw4SWmFMxLQd6O0CuIUhOkAvULuFWaSJQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3287.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Moving on to the final item I got from this collection - the 'Are You Filming?' This shade was named in honour of Andrew, Shane's camera man. This shade is a gorgeous warm red that I think would look great on everyone. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B2fbT0_szTw/XcP3AhimEgI/AAAAAAAADDg/IS1j2u9BRR0fqZcsL67_CGmQ7qxLkSHmQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3315.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B2fbT0_szTw/XcP3AhimEgI/AAAAAAAADDg/IS1j2u9BRR0fqZcsL67_CGmQ7qxLkSHmQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3315.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Jeffree's liquid lip formula is unbeatable in my opinion and it is now the only matte liquid lip I will wear as it doesn't budge but also feels like you're not wearing anything on the lips. I love the dark grey chrome they've gone for on the lid with Shane's name printed around the border, I can't wait to use this red during party season!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so pleased I managed to get my hands on these 3 products from the Shane Dawson X Jeffree Star collection! It was definitely money well spent and I can't wait to experiment more with all of the different shades.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What do you think? Have you got anything from the Shane X Jeffree collab, or are you waiting to get your hands on anything in the restock? Let me know in the comments!</div>

Wow, where do I begin? My life seems to be changing month by month at the moment and I've only just had the chance to catch my breath. I feel like I may as well start off this post all fresh prince-esque, "now this is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down"...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwcoaxlWbcw/XbnQqgcKceI/AAAAAAAADBk/zA9oIe5rtV4OAC04IaHwNRlGyIxRv9mzQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1377" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cwcoaxlWbcw/XbnQqgcKceI/AAAAAAAADBk/zA9oIe5rtV4OAC04IaHwNRlGyIxRv9mzQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_3266.JPG" /></a></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
First thing's first, I graduated wooo! I managed to bag myself a 2:1 and I'm still so proud of that. However, the month after graduation was the most up and down month of my life. Filled with the highest of high's but also some of the lowest of low's. I won't go into too much detail as I like to keep this blog a positive space for me but I'm not going to lie, it was tough, and I felt every emotion possible. One thing I will tell you is that my graduate job as a Marketing Assistant didn't work out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Uqt6aTXGTR4/XbnZTsnk9zI/AAAAAAAADCM/P0cmCtIwPOofTkD6YJoWx2DycwblFtkWQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_30-10-2019-18-22-27%2B2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Uqt6aTXGTR4/XbnZTsnk9zI/AAAAAAAADCM/P0cmCtIwPOofTkD6YJoWx2DycwblFtkWQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_30-10-2019-18-22-27%2B2.JPG" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I was constantly made to feel like I had to second guess myself, always scared I would put a foot out of line or, on the other hand, that I wasn't putting myself out there as much as I should. I didn't know, and still don't know, what was wanted of me, and it was a bit of a confidence blow at first. However, I am out of it now and I am <i>so</i> grateful that I didn't end up with what I thought I wanted. I'm happier now than I felt I should have been at that point in my life, and I think it really goes to show that just because society says you are smashing life, it doesn't mean you actually are. I'm now lucky enough to work with some absolutely amazing people, some that have become really good friends, and I'm encouraged to be me and to have confidence, and it's such a great feeling. I also have a little secret project up my sleeve, but more on that later...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On a positive note, I finally passed my driving test! Driving used to scare the life out of me (turns out learning to drive and bad anxiety don't mix) but now I'm in a better place I've learnt to love it, and I love having the freedom to drive about in my gorgeous little mini to go wherever I want, when I want, and have a little dance party to my music in the process. Driving was a fear I never thought I would get over, so I'm proud of how far I've come since I was 17.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cQFvofACjj0/XbnQqN8rhUI/AAAAAAAADBg/98vfV_1ShLss-MGuBnwfAzYF14qK974NQCEwYBhgL/s1600/Facetune_30-10-2019-18-03-27.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cQFvofACjj0/XbnQqN8rhUI/AAAAAAAADBg/98vfV_1ShLss-MGuBnwfAzYF14qK974NQCEwYBhgL/s1600/Facetune_30-10-2019-18-03-27.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
I still don't have my life completely together. But then again, who ever really does? I've learnt that my 20s are going to be all about the 'work in progress' stage of life where I figure out who I want to be and what I want out of life. I was putting way too much pressure on myself to do what society wanted of me rather than what I actually wanted. It's also about learning who is important to me and who really benefits my life. I don't have the patience for people who aren't fully there for me anymore as I found I was always putting myself out for people who later stabbed me in the back. You have to have your own back, even if it means letting people go. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that's where I am at the moment. Slightly all over the place but also slowly piecing the puzzle together at the same time. For now, I'm focusing on being creative and finding true happiness, but mostly just enjoying the whirlwind that is your 20s.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have lots of new posts coming up soon. I'm getting back to my roots with some good old make up reviews, I'm posting more in my 'grab a cuppa' girl talk series and I've even got an exciting fashion collab coming up very soon! So please stay tuned and follow this journey with me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Till next time.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My Beauty Pageant journey was an unexpected one but something that has proven to be amazing, and it's teaching me a lot. I feel like there's a lot of misconceptions about beauty pageants, even I thought a lot of these before I experienced the pageant industry first hand. So here's an inside look into what beauty pageants are really like...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u><br /></u></b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gp80apqafKU/XYpGgVm_bJI/AAAAAAAADAY/gDnxy_LpYI0sXA_WfYnzehVBkfODz56zQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9127.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="771" data-original-width="1080" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Gp80apqafKU/XYpGgVm_bJI/AAAAAAAADAY/gDnxy_LpYI0sXA_WfYnzehVBkfODz56zQCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9127.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>The Girls</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first thing that I was worried about getting into pageants was how the girls were going to be, as all you see on the TV shows & Movies is how bitchy it can be and how competitive it is, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I've met some of the most lovely girls I've ever met through pageants, and the majority are super supportive of each other. Don't get me wrong, you do get a few who are definitely not there to make friends and just want that crown, but actually those girls don't tend to get very far. A lot of being a pageant girl involves being a good role model, and it's really nice to be able to support each other instead of stepping on each other to get to the top. As the saying goes.. "real Queens fix each other's crowns".</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-430AUSeJH5k/XYpGfBx2YMI/AAAAAAAADAQ/hdF-xi9oWUQ9HfMwVtg42ypXuDAct73RwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9086.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1289" data-original-width="1080" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-430AUSeJH5k/XYpGfBx2YMI/AAAAAAAADAQ/hdF-xi9oWUQ9HfMwVtg42ypXuDAct73RwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9086.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>The Expenses</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It can be expensive competing in pageants, but on the flip side you can also do it on a budget. Nobody tells you that you have to spend a certain amount on outfits, you could get an evening dress from a bridal/prom shop or you could get one from PLT. It's all about how much you want to spend. I personally have put a chunk of money towards evening dresses but that's because I know I can sell them on afterwards (although it will break my heart to part with my gorgeous Gino Cerutti red number), whereas for Miss North Yorkshire I didn't spend more than £30 on my fashion wear and outfit of choice outfits combined as I wore a lot of what I already had.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SEQgz2w6R4E/XYpGdI6B91I/AAAAAAAAC_8/PSD10yQQN1YCjmsIJnmwr_clXw0YeSJwwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9155.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-SEQgz2w6R4E/XYpGdI6B91I/AAAAAAAAC_8/PSD10yQQN1YCjmsIJnmwr_clXw0YeSJwwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_9155.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>Charity Work</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A huge part of being a pageant girl is raising money for charity, which was one of the main reasons I got into this in the first place. Raising money for charity is hard work and it can be really stressful trying to get tickets sold, raffle prizes, venues etc for events, but when you see the total raised at the end of the night it's always worth it. I'm coming up to an overall raised total of £1000 at the moment but I am hoping to raise at least that amount for Supermodel England coming up in November, so hopefully that total will rise up even further. The charity I am currently raising money for is a local baby hospice called Zoe's Place and it feels amazing to know that you are making a difference and raising money for such an important cause.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dTXlglLdrxs/XYpGfLGHDfI/AAAAAAAADAI/bOjmTd1_qmc-OvMfo8awOmw9q5nF1KJMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_8195.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="922" data-original-width="900" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dTXlglLdrxs/XYpGfLGHDfI/AAAAAAAADAI/bOjmTd1_qmc-OvMfo8awOmw9q5nF1KJMwCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/IMG_8195.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><u>'It's Easy'</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
On the outside it can just look like we get dressed up all pretty and walk across a stage, but it's so much more than that. Obviously in the lead up your efforts in charity fundraising go towards your final score so that hard work is already there, but it's also finding outfits that represent you, having the confidence to walk and pose on a catwalk in front of an audience, cameras and a panel of judges, and it's also having the self belief in yourself. If there's one thing that I can say about beauty pageants it's that they really helped my confidence and taught me to love myself a bit more. I'm the type of person where I always put myself down and tell myself I'm not good enough, but pageants have made me realise that I am good enough and I can do whatever I put my mind to. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PpxLhWPp8t8/XYpGdzgkaZI/AAAAAAAADAE/7JhXgZBORBUuxJJa1iyFNuDmHTLTKgMiACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_04-04-2019-14-09-51.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PpxLhWPp8t8/XYpGdzgkaZI/AAAAAAAADAE/7JhXgZBORBUuxJJa1iyFNuDmHTLTKgMiACLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/Facetune_04-04-2019-14-09-51.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so glad I started doing pageants and I'm still not ready for my journey to end, so hopefully Supermodel England can bring me even more opportunities than past pageants already have.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This really feels like a real life Elle Woods moment for me. An underestimated blonde girl proved the doubters wrong, worked hard and got a degree. So, how did I do it? It's been a journey to say the least.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ODWiR_8TNm8/XS5GCvvq-MI/AAAAAAAAC-I/aM5SdXUxz18Pr37BunwnZ6zKOZn_r6HzgCEwYBhgL/s1600/DF787E7E-6C5D-4BB9-A87B-6EC86C207809.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1280" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ODWiR_8TNm8/XS5GCvvq-MI/AAAAAAAAC-I/aM5SdXUxz18Pr37BunwnZ6zKOZn_r6HzgCEwYBhgL/s1600/DF787E7E-6C5D-4BB9-A87B-6EC86C207809.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let me take you back to 2014 when I received my A level results. I walked in to sixth form that day feeling sick with nerves but also kind of hopeful. I opened the letter, stood shocked, ashamed, embarrassed and feeling like a failure, and walked straight back home again. I called some of the uni's I'd applied for desperately trying to get accepted in through clearing but it wasn't enough. I had come out with 3 D's and a C, I'd basically failed.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
School was never for me and, if I'm being honest, A levels probably weren't the best choice for me, although I loved my time there. I was good at the creative, practical work, but when it came to playing the remembrance game for exams I was useless. I just couldn't get it, even though I worked so hard. Sixth form was a constant battle of trying to find something I was good at, but also feeling like I was fighting a losing battle. However, even though my exams let my grades down, I knew I wanted to carry on studying media.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8-vMtLyH-d8/XS5GF5pl1kI/AAAAAAAAC-k/7rLaIWSoZNEkuBfzpy4qEwNHoPZC-PxXQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1428.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8-vMtLyH-d8/XS5GF5pl1kI/AAAAAAAAC-k/7rLaIWSoZNEkuBfzpy4qEwNHoPZC-PxXQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1428.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So, what did I do? An apprenticeship in retail. I know, pretty different, but it was actually the best thing I could have done. After enrolling in a 4 month retail course to get a bit of business experience, one of the tutors asked if I'd ever considered an apprenticeship and in all honesty it had never crossed my mind. Apprenticeships weren't really encouraged at sixth form, it was either uni or nothing, but by this point I was up for anything. So I went down to a little boutique in my local town called Kiwi boutique and ended up doing a year's apprenticeship there, followed by a further year working as a sales assistant.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I learnt so much at Kiwi, mostly thanks to my manager who was an amazing mentor. I learnt so much from her not only about working but also how to be a better person, and she is still someone that I look up to a lot today, even though she probably doesn't realise it. I learnt how to run a shop by myself, opening, closing, cashing up, the full shebang! I also learnt about independent businesses and how much hard work goes into running a business. That apprenticeship really shaped me as a person and looking back I'm so grateful I accidentally ended up there.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M0dg_NuGoos/XS5GGKNSp5I/AAAAAAAAC-s/vu9DP0VgMkwyvYv79CUfB6A0J_OaIqF0ACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1431.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M0dg_NuGoos/XS5GGKNSp5I/AAAAAAAAC-s/vu9DP0VgMkwyvYv79CUfB6A0J_OaIqF0ACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1431.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
However, I was still wanting to carry on my study of media, so I looked into a foundation degree, and ended up enrolling on a foundation degree studying media production in Newcastle. I commuted in and saw it as a bit of an adventure, and was thrilled to finally be getting a qualification in media, but after a year I realised I wasn't enjoying the course that much and really missed the theory side of media as opposed to the practical side of it. Then, one day, one of my friends on the course said they might be going to manchester uni next year and when I asked how he was getting into manchester he explained that the year we had already completed of a foundation degree earned us UCAS points, and after looking in to it I realised I might actually have enough to get in to a uni to do a bachelor's degree.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
After that I enquired about doing a bachelor's degree in media studies, and to my amazement I was accepted! And do you know what? I'm actually so glad I had that two year gap. I wasn't ready for uni at 18 and I ended up meeting the most amazing friends at uni that I wouldn't have done if I had gone a year or two earlier. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vW5Px8MLuqI/XS5GHEeKKzI/AAAAAAAAC-s/4Diob4ZbbrYuQZ_BAXroAn4TFjfRpgi9ACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1535.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vW5Px8MLuqI/XS5GHEeKKzI/AAAAAAAAC-s/4Diob4ZbbrYuQZ_BAXroAn4TFjfRpgi9ACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1535.JPG" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It really is the perfect example of everything happens for a reason and I had the best uni experience. And the best part about it? It was ALL COURSEWORK, WOO! I was finally on a course that I enjoyed, could do and actually excelled in, and it was the most amazing feeling to know that I actually could do it and that I actually got myself there.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Fast forward to today and I have officially graduated as a Bachelor of Arts with a 2:1 level Honours Degree in Media Studies. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I couldn't have asked for a better graduation day. The sun was shining, the prosecco was flowing and I was surrounded by my family and friends. Putting that cap and gown on was such a proud moment for me, in fact it was a day filled with pride. I'm proud that my family are proud of me, I'm proud of my friends and course mates for doing so well and I'm proud that I actually got a degree. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will forever look back on graduation as a magical day, and my 3 years at uni as some of the best years of my life. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Till next time,</div>

<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XsIfO_cG9K4/XSi5dul2nJI/AAAAAAAAC9E/AzPW9lNpzPgM3WDnS36VFOUY9qJQTqjxQCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3210.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-XsIfO_cG9K4/XSi5dul2nJI/AAAAAAAAC9E/AzPW9lNpzPgM3WDnS36VFOUY9qJQTqjxQCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3210.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
I think Charlotte Tilbury will always be my favourite luxury beauty brand. Buying her products is always a real treat. In fact, I think my review of her 'Bitch Perfect' lipstick (which is still one of my faves years later) was the first luxury product I ever featured on my blog.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LTIgU1Q7z1k/XSi6XHMKFHI/AAAAAAAAC9M/E8KOtZYSQwoiBNy3XMa1GGO9N9qWX2iLwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3193.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LTIgU1Q7z1k/XSi6XHMKFHI/AAAAAAAAC9M/E8KOtZYSQwoiBNy3XMa1GGO9N9qWX2iLwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3193.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When I saw Charlotte was dropping another Hot Lips collection, I couldn't have been more excited. Her lipsticks are by far my favourite formula out of all the lipsticks I own (and that is <i>a lot!</i>) and every lipstick in these collections are inspired by celebrities, giving a true 'get the look' experience. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hot Lips 2 still features the signature lips printed in the lipstick itself and some gorgeous new shades from nudes to brights, but the most exciting thing about this new launch for me is the packaging. Each lipstick comes in a tube featuring different designs and the outside packaging has changed to slide out too, making the lipsticks feel even more luxury.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PEJN9KKMTho/XSi7AaLClyI/AAAAAAAAC9c/1o08nYcJ4qYGRfg7f8UdkRVNN57sLxz0gCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3196.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PEJN9KKMTho/XSi7AaLClyI/AAAAAAAAC9c/1o08nYcJ4qYGRfg7f8UdkRVNN57sLxz0gCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_3196.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dWsGasWS3k8/XSi61ycbynI/AAAAAAAAC9U/GIzU1ldKN_4Q4mP7qxkaIcnTNoT6eQ__QCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3198%2B2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dWsGasWS3k8/XSi61ycbynI/AAAAAAAAC9U/GIzU1ldKN_4Q4mP7qxkaIcnTNoT6eQ__QCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3198%2B2.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
The really cool part about the new components is when you've finished your product you can take the inside part out and buy an in-fill for it, meaning the packaging doesn't go to waste and in the long run you will save money. The lipsticks are a little pricey, even for Charlotte Tilbury, as to buy in the designed tubes they are £28, but when you look at the plan for the packaging with in-fills costing just £19, the start off price does make sense.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-L17nZUKLBTI/XSi69vEYAGI/AAAAAAAAC9Y/9b0Qz0DpgzsKJa9SWMECRNaaTdc9kOVXACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3200.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-L17nZUKLBTI/XSi69vEYAGI/AAAAAAAAC9Y/9b0Qz0DpgzsKJa9SWMECRNaaTdc9kOVXACLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3200.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now - onto the shades I picked up! The first one that caught my eye was 'JK Magic' which is of course inspired by JK Rowling. This shade (top swatch pictured below) is a peachy nude with a slight rose tint and is like Bitch Perfect's older sister. The shade is basically a slightly darker and more bold version of Bitch Perfect, and I have to admit I think JK Magic has big potential of taking over as my favourite CT lipstick. I am also pretty in awe of the design on this lipstick. I love anything to do with stars and the moon, it totally captures the essence of the thing that JK is most known for, Harry Potter and magic, and it's even prettier in real life!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Kp-5SK4oMU/XSi7OrmN97I/AAAAAAAAC9o/mSDu0D7qTcQovqSlfmH5WKFIKqDOVEsFgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3207.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2Kp-5SK4oMU/XSi7OrmN97I/AAAAAAAAC9o/mSDu0D7qTcQovqSlfmH5WKFIKqDOVEsFgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3207.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t3bn30zH6Vk/XSi7cluqptI/AAAAAAAAC9w/u4iWIDR1CUUGzvSGh1q9ji88wqnL8J0FwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t3bn30zH6Vk/XSi7cluqptI/AAAAAAAAC9w/u4iWIDR1CUUGzvSGh1q9ji88wqnL8J0FwCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3216.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
Then the next one that I picked up was 'Glowing Jen', inspired by the legendary Jennifer Aniston. This shade (bottom swatch) is described on the website as a 'tawny, beachy rose' shade and that really does hit the nail on the head. Although this is technically a nude, the flirty rose tone really adds a pop of colour to your look and could be used easily with a day time look or a night time full glam look. I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this one and it could even be the lipstick I'll wear on my graduation day!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UkYEThIkj4o/XSi7sA5DGGI/AAAAAAAAC90/IWSCX8efUq0ZV6Pv2b-AgaUKp9Id1rrrgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3205.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UkYEThIkj4o/XSi7sA5DGGI/AAAAAAAAC90/IWSCX8efUq0ZV6Pv2b-AgaUKp9Id1rrrgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_3205.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so pleased with these shades, they're the perfect new additions to my ever growing CT collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Have you got your eye on any of the Hot Lips 2 shades? Or have you already tried any? Let me know in the comments, let's talk lipstick!</div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Kylie Jenner's venture into the beauty industry has been quite a controversial one, but I have to admit, her make up products are some of my favourites!</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Buying from Kylie Cosmetics is a bit tricky in the UK because you have to prepare yourself for custom fees (plsss sort this out already Kylie!) which is why I usually wait until there's a free international shipping deal on as the money you pay for the custom charges usually balances out to around what you would have paid for shipping. However, because of these fees I always like to make sure that I am SURE I really want the products I'm buying as it's got to be worth the money, so I'm here to tell you all of the Kylie products I've got that are worth splashing that cash for.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pa2WhIri2ZA/XRoyf4YhqQI/AAAAAAAAC8E/glYV7yGzfgMInDcabqYlJehZX2pTOWtBgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_1152.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pa2WhIri2ZA/XRoyf4YhqQI/AAAAAAAAC8E/glYV7yGzfgMInDcabqYlJehZX2pTOWtBgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_1152.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Velvets - $16</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Although I wish I could get on board with Kylie's mattes, they just aren't my favourite. Her velvets however, are on another level. Not only do they give a mostly matte finish but they aren't drying whatsoever. I know that if some rubs off after eating or just during the day that I can top it up no problem and it won't layer or cake up. I really like Candy K in this formula, but I also love French Kiss which was part of the Kourtney Kardashian collab.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IT7cghjx8F4/XRoyf5bHJWI/AAAAAAAAC8c/-VcSOYv4GW8welq5bwiQM1MLwulQPM2TgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1150.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-IT7cghjx8F4/XRoyf5bHJWI/AAAAAAAAC8c/-VcSOYv4GW8welq5bwiQM1MLwulQPM2TgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1150.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
High Gloss - $16</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've just recently bought this product and I have to admit, I'm obsessed! I've actually pretty much finished my tube already. This gloss is not only hydrating and non-sticky, it gives the most amaaazing glow. I got the shade My Moon & Stars (kinda because it reminded me of GoT, I won't lie) and it has little flecks of sparkle in that in natural light just looks super glossy but when the sun hits you can see those little sparkles and it's gorgeous. It has a slight peachy/rosey tint so I tend to pair this with a liner, but I would definitely wear it by itself for a stunning, natural glow.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--8trAfFzriM/XRoyiDqCPnI/AAAAAAAAC8o/_A8QoWbYUhU4RLCIQ0hn1oL56zQ9I2YgQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1159.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--8trAfFzriM/XRoyiDqCPnI/AAAAAAAAC8o/_A8QoWbYUhU4RLCIQ0hn1oL56zQ9I2YgQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1159.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lip Liner - $12</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Kylie's lip liners are one of the best formula's I've tried when it comes to liners. They're creamy, super pigmented and last all day. I have a few shades but Coconut was my most recent purchase and also happens to be my favourite of them all. Candy K is also great for a more defined nude lip.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u3YaxXssamc/XRoyhtgPqaI/AAAAAAAAC8g/Ovs2LeUnpoUc8aRXVhOgew8ggQskTtCEACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1155.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u3YaxXssamc/XRoyhtgPqaI/AAAAAAAAC8g/Ovs2LeUnpoUc8aRXVhOgew8ggQskTtCEACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1155.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Blush - $18</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I first tried Kylie's blushes when she released Winter Kissed in her Christmas collection which is a gorgeous pink and after that I just had to get another one so I got We're Going Shopping which is a really warm, peach toned shade. The thing I love most about Kylie's blushes is how pigmented they are, you literally need the tiniest dab and you will get amazing colour pay off, so I know they will last me for ages.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-INQK-NC1sMQ/XRoyiErQYuI/AAAAAAAAC8k/J_oXEmyFZwwzQO9rjh5WvNtfaSWVi2qdACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1157.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-INQK-NC1sMQ/XRoyiErQYuI/AAAAAAAAC8k/J_oXEmyFZwwzQO9rjh5WvNtfaSWVi2qdACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1157.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Eyeshadows</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've found some of Kylie's eyeshadows to be a bit hit or miss, but the palettes I love, I've really loved. In the summer 'Take Me On Vacation' ($52) is my go to. It's perfect for soft glam and bronzey looks but also has pops of colour here and there, just what you want in the Summer and it also comes with a double ended brush which I use. I also really like the 'Royal Peach' palette which has been discontinued now but there is the 'Peach Extended' palette which has the same shades ($45) and I also really like 'The Blue Palette' quad ($24) which was another product out of the Kourtney collab because it's really quick and easy.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Rns9l0xqAFw/XRoyf33keRI/AAAAAAAAC8o/FDwm4B1tnUgfVgYwiCfFF87iRjjeSuYfQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1147.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Rns9l0xqAFw/XRoyf33keRI/AAAAAAAAC8o/FDwm4B1tnUgfVgYwiCfFF87iRjjeSuYfQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1147.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ultra Glow - $14</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I only have one Ultra Glow but it is <i>insane</i>. I have the shade Fiji and with this product a little goes a looong way. It is absolutely blinding and perfect for a golden summer glow. I also use this in my inner corner and on my brow bone. The only down point is that it's a loose powder so can get a little messy but if you don't mind that then it's absolutely worth the money.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vGb592P-5qs/XRoyhL7LNGI/AAAAAAAAC8o/Rp1bv1P1FggIt769vSczZ_pH60VE8aE4QCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1154.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vGb592P-5qs/XRoyhL7LNGI/AAAAAAAAC8o/Rp1bv1P1FggIt769vSczZ_pH60VE8aE4QCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_1154.JPG" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Brow Pomade - $16</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Kylie has only just released her brow collection and I was in need of a new brow pomade so I decided to give Kylie's a go and I'm so glad I did. I'd say it's around the same size as the ABH pomade but this one actually works out cheaper, and I actually prefer this one! It blends out so easily while still giving nice coverage so your brows don't look too heavy and it keeps my brows in place all day. I got the shade Blonde and it's perfect for me so I would say if you're getting this product to be aware that they do come up a little dark as I would normally go for a medium brown.<br />
<br />
So there you are! If you're looking to treat yourself to some Kylie Cosmetics products, those are my top recommendations!<br />
<br />
Are you going to try anything mentioned in this post? Or have you got a KC fave I haven't mentioned?! Let's chat, tell me in the comments!<br />

Huda's neon launch consists of 3 neon palettes that each feature a mixture of 9 mattes and metallic shades. There's a pink one and a green one, but the one that really caught my eye was the orange one. The orange palette has pinks, purples, yellows and, of course, orange and it was the palette that looked the most fun to play around with. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I've really grown to love a pop of colour when it comes to eyeshadows and when I used this palette for the first time I was very pleasantly surprised at how bright these shades really are. For a night out, I put down a neutral, smokey base and then applied the orange/pink shade in the top right corner of the palette in the inner corners of my eyes, and then used the pink glitter shade in the centre of my lid and WOW, did my eyes pop! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Although the shades already look bright in the pans, when swatched they really come to life. They apply quite easily for such bright colour, although the glitter shades are definitely better when used with a wet brush. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In my opinion, the palette is a little pricey at £27 for 9 shades, but as I said these shades are something new and really exciting to the beauty industry that is currently filled with neutrals upon neutrals. I'm not saying I don't like neutral shades because your gal definitely likes a good golden smokey eye, but bright colours are super fun to play with and really add a pop to your look. The palette also has a mirror which is always a major bonus, and not to mention how beautiful the packaging in!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm so glad I picked up this palette and I can't wait to create more looks with it. What do you think of the neon eyeshadow trend? Is it something you're going to try? Let me know in the comments, let's chat!</div>

<br />
Hello, and welcome to my new series 'grab a cuppa'! I've been talking for a while about how I want my blog content to be more real, personal and authentic, so I decided to start this new chatty 'girl talk' series where I talk about all things girl talk including boys, friendships and general struggles we girls face in today's society!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To kick off the series, I present to you - a f*ckboy 101, if you will! I'm going to give you all my top tips on how to deal with those boys who mess with your head and how to make sure you're not getting too involved with a boy who doesn't have your best intentions in mind, because if there's one thing I've come across in my dating life it's definitely a few f*ckboy's!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U65EBQKhNUk/XPqu44iIJjI/AAAAAAAAC6Q/-_xnwjNSu8gZc6o8sqzGI5Wyam9tkhpfACLcBGAs/s1600/2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U65EBQKhNUk/XPqu44iIJjI/AAAAAAAAC6Q/-_xnwjNSu8gZc6o8sqzGI5Wyam9tkhpfACLcBGAs/s1600/2.png" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Don't Ignore Warning Signs</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You know, when you've just started talking and a few things he says ring alarm bells in your head but you just ignore it because you've just started talking and you think, eh, I'll see how it goes. But I'm here to tell you DO NOT ignore those warning signs! I'm not saying to pie a lad off over little things but something that bothers you now will most likely creep up and annoy you on an even bigger level in the future. Keep an eye out, gal.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Know Your Worth</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Don't be chasing after these boys who don't treat you right, know your worth! If you know he's messing you about then don't put up with it. Either call him out on it or walk away, you deserve the best!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Actions Speak Louder Than Words</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If there's one thing I've learned it's that boys will say <i>exactly</i> what you want to hear until they get what they want, and then when the grafting has paid off and they have you in the palm of their hands, they run away faster than Usain Bolt. So, always remember, <i>actions speak louder than words</i>! He could promise you the world but until he actually shows how much he appreciates you then words don't mean much.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--RKs9cIfAwk/XPqu5FEyI8I/AAAAAAAAC6U/RwR0E0vvQZQCOL5Vs92wnI0lZHzLQASgQCLcBGAs/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/--RKs9cIfAwk/XPqu5FEyI8I/AAAAAAAAC6U/RwR0E0vvQZQCOL5Vs92wnI0lZHzLQASgQCLcBGAs/s1600/3.png" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>The 2-chance Rule</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I came up with this rule for myself after being mugged off by the same boy over and over again for years in the hope that he would one day change. *Spoiler alert* he didn't! I know, I'm just as shocked as you are. So, when I'm talking to somebody new now I normally go by the '2 chance rule'. If he messes up once then it could have been something he regrets and wants another chance to prove himself or it could have been a misunderstanding, so I always give them a second chance. But once that second chance is blown? CYA.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Happiness</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Make sure that this boy you're crazy about is making you happy, not leaving you feeling not good enough. If he's the one for you then he will want to make you happy and feel special and won't give you mixed signals or let you think you're not good enough for him. Cos I'm here to tell you, you are definitely good enough! So make sure you're putting your happiness first.<br />
<br />
<b>Make Sure You're The Only One</b><br />
<br />
If you've been talking for a while and things are getting more serious, it is so important that you make sure that you are the steak and not the side of fries. If he is talking to more than one girl, including you, then he isn't worth your time. If he wants you then another girl should not be on the scene, and things will get messy, so make sure you are the only girl he has his eyes on.<br />
<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed these little tips and hopefully they help you be that strong, independent girl and stay away from those bad boys! Ugh, boys.<br />
<br />
Stay tuned and follow my journey in this new chapter of Just Lucy's Life and as always a huge thank you to whoever has supported me so far, you're the best!<br />

I never thought I'd be the 'I'm just off to the gym' person, a person who could be on a fitness plan and stick to it, or even just a person who could actually pick up a weight and move it quite well. But the gym has become my happy place in the last few months, and I finally see the hype about what everyone was talking about when they said they felt amazing after a good workout.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9wuXt5zXDaI/XJdvrrFZ-fI/AAAAAAAAC3A/-m_F2l7vLkEIrWSiNvDFiyont6TDCqnkgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8686.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1243" data-original-width="1600" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9wuXt5zXDaI/XJdvrrFZ-fI/AAAAAAAAC3A/-m_F2l7vLkEIrWSiNvDFiyont6TDCqnkgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8686.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When DW and Middlesbrough Leisure Park got in touch and asked if I wanted to try out their SHRED class I was both delighted and intrigued. I train with weights at the gym and I do cardio along with the odd Clubbercise class here and there, but I have never done a fitness class that combined HIIT (high intensity interval training) with weights.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R7Ogyz78XHs/XJdvrdaN2mI/AAAAAAAAC3U/qvIqPi_nmXcz8liobIAWzQb8VG_lbRoCwCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8647.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-R7Ogyz78XHs/XJdvrdaN2mI/AAAAAAAAC3U/qvIqPi_nmXcz8liobIAWzQb8VG_lbRoCwCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8647.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CtQCEogdTNw/XJdvtAL1-lI/AAAAAAAAC3M/niGUu_wdXGUxz-R6T9ocGuGMmkqTKDthgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8811.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1150" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CtQCEogdTNw/XJdvtAL1-lI/AAAAAAAAC3M/niGUu_wdXGUxz-R6T9ocGuGMmkqTKDthgCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8811.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I already have a membership at DW and I love the gym for many reasons. For one it has everything you need in one place - state of the art equipment, a huge selection of weights and machines that fit into any of my workouts, a fibre optic lit steam room and a big pool that is accompanied by a hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a good workout! It is also super easy to get to with it being part of Middlesbrough Leisure Park right in the centre of town alongside Nando's, Cineworld, Subway (which is normally a go-to post workout treat for me), Pizza Hut and McDonald's.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YYL-lOCUTf8/XJdvqNNKgnI/AAAAAAAAC3U/JAPbSWbBAqg59duTj1fp3BpDX4P7wvoDACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8625.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YYL-lOCUTf8/XJdvqNNKgnI/AAAAAAAAC3U/JAPbSWbBAqg59duTj1fp3BpDX4P7wvoDACEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8625.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
When setting up I had a step, a mat, a bar and two sets of weights - a lighter and a heavier option. Me liking to challenge myself, I chose to use 5kg on each side. At first this was fine for me as I am used to training with heavier weights now, but as the class went on I soon realised that there was a lot of reps, so I really had to push through.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qLL-JpyTXb8/XJdvsFGSIAI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/YRgtQJ9GLAQZmia5u64XckT_p3r7LGIVQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8728.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1265" data-original-width="1600" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qLL-JpyTXb8/XJdvsFGSIAI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/YRgtQJ9GLAQZmia5u64XckT_p3r7LGIVQCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8728.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qflUvQdffCo/XJdvtI-090I/AAAAAAAAC3c/-hCgjQkXIdkl9QNTMwF9TZldCR5Yz9g7wCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8731.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" src="https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qflUvQdffCo/XJdvtI-090I/AAAAAAAAC3c/-hCgjQkXIdkl9QNTMwF9TZldCR5Yz9g7wCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8731.jpeg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cath, the instructor, was super helpful though, and always helped members of the class if they were struggling to make sure they were doing the moves right, their balance was on check and she motivated us all through. I was also alongside the manager, Dan, during the class who told me a lot about the class and you could tell he enjoyed taking part himself. All of the staff were friendly, which is another reason why I enjoy it there.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QdUa1SVvQYM/XJdvqXZ8kcI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/GlJ77B9Utw4Te75tLNBK6t0HyCN9wWL-gCEwYBhgL/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1132" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-QdUa1SVvQYM/XJdvqXZ8kcI/AAAAAAAAC3Y/GlJ77B9Utw4Te75tLNBK6t0HyCN9wWL-gCEwYBhgL/s1600/1.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The way the class works is that you start off with a warm up, then you are given a lift to do with the weights, a compound lift, such as a squat, chest press, deadlift etc which you do for 1 minute, then you are given a HIIT movement to do for 30 seconds such as bodyweight squats, jumping, wall sit etc, and then you will go back and repeat the move with your weights for 1 more minute. It's intense, and a real burner, but it isn't called a 'shred' class for no reason!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This class, exclusive to DW, focuses to drive calorie burn, performance, strength and conditioning. So it may be hard at first, but it's such a great class to do if you're wanting big results! They suggest you bring lots of water with you and a sweat towel for afterwards. *possible tmi alert* I didn't bring a sweat towel as I don't normally sweat too much in the gym apart from when I do heavy cardio, but after this session I wish I'd brought one. I was knackered, but it was a great feeling to know I'd done such an intense workout which will have done me so much good, so it's definitely worth it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AwIvKdkih_0/XJdvqdVtfKI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/49Z9L0CdK0EsUtdF5MdG4cx28UmPbUG_QCEwYBhgL/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1132" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AwIvKdkih_0/XJdvqdVtfKI/AAAAAAAAC3Q/49Z9L0CdK0EsUtdF5MdG4cx28UmPbUG_QCEwYBhgL/s1600/2.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Overall, although I was a little apprehensive before taking part in the SHRED class at DW, I'm so glad I did it, and would do it again! DW offer a whole range of classes too, so I'll definitely be looking into taking part in some more in the future.<br />
<br />
Middlesbrough Leisure Park & DW are also running a competition at the moment for a free one month gym pass which you can enter - <a href="https://www.facebook.com/middlesbroughleisurepark/posts/826992667655062" target="_blank">HERE</a>.<br />

Spring is just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited! I'm so ready for lighter nights, pretty flowers, sunny days and most of all, updating my fragrance for the new season!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bBASLLokJEE/XIwtaX7XfBI/AAAAAAAAC2M/96pZiBhyOJ0Ylzdgoq3m9WewNOBi64GdgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8513.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bBASLLokJEE/XIwtaX7XfBI/AAAAAAAAC2M/96pZiBhyOJ0Ylzdgoq3m9WewNOBi64GdgCLcBGAs/s1600/IMG_8513.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I tend to change my go-to fragrance with the change of the seasons, so when Missguided got in touch and asked if I wanted to try their new body mists*, I was over the moon and couldn't wait to see what their new launch had in store.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TcUnzBsNz2o/XIwtcRjgasI/AAAAAAAAC2U/taDcnpyYaVs6qy0QJEyoeqeG-S-nDIm-wCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8514.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TcUnzBsNz2o/XIwtcRjgasI/AAAAAAAAC2U/taDcnpyYaVs6qy0QJEyoeqeG-S-nDIm-wCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8514.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
Missguided has been one of my favourite brands for a long time now for it's fresh style and reasonable prices, so I was super intrigued to see what their body mists would be like after their 'Babe Power' perfume was such a hit, and I'm glad to tell you that they don't disappoint! I was lucky enough to receive both <a href="https://www.missguided.co.uk/missguided-instant-feels-body-mist-10105591#" target="_blank">Instant Feels</a> and <a href="https://www.missguided.co.uk/missguided-vibe-enhancer-body-mist-290ml-10105590" target="_blank">Vibe Enhancer</a>, and I love both of them for different reasons...</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Instant Feels</b><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>"Don't panic, we caught instant feels too! The Instant Feels Body Mist is a light, fruity fragrance that combines raspberry, bergamot, patchouli and sweet vanilla."</i><br />
<br />
I really did get instant feels for this fragrance. It's sweet and fresh yet holds a slight musk which I absolutely love as it makes it a good fragrance for both the day and night! So if you're a gal on the go and don't have time to freshen up at home before the evening, then this is ideal to keep in your handbag. It's also good for everyday when you don't want to use your 'expensive' perfume but still want to smell lovely.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UN5PNT6OlMA/XIwtaoRprwI/AAAAAAAAC2Q/vqjxjon5Qkg5YNSXVqheuC9bKIBkswQ-QCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8511.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1067" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UN5PNT6OlMA/XIwtaoRprwI/AAAAAAAAC2Q/vqjxjon5Qkg5YNSXVqheuC9bKIBkswQ-QCEwYBhgL/s1600/IMG_8511.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>Vibe Enhancer</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<i>"Let's keep it real, we're only here for the good vibes. Vibe Enhancer is a hypnotic scent of fruity apple, combined with strawberry, warm caramel and vanilla."</i><br />
<br />
This is such a warm and sweet fragrance, and definitely a good 'pick-me-up' fragrance as the name suggests. If you follow me on my social media (@justlucyslife) then you'll know that I have a huge sweet tooth, but actually when it comes to sweet fragrances, they can be a bit hit and miss with me. However this scent isn't overpowering and has the sweet, fresh notes that it promises, yay! I'm popping this bottle in my gym bag to freshen up with after so then I can leave feeling (almost) as fresh as a daisy. Just what you want after a good workout!<br />
<br />
To complete the collection there is also Unicorn Dreams and Boy Tears with every bottle holding 290ml of product for an amazing £10! I love that they're so reasonably priced as it's great for students like me. Each body mist has a different scent and vibe meaning there's something for everyone and they're so handy to have as a handbag staple.<br />
<br />
I also love the design of the bottles and you can instantly tell that they are Missguided with the classic pink and silver colour palette and their simplistic style.<br />
<br />
I am so happy to have discovered these body mists as I just know they're going to be used so much in the coming warmer seasons and probably even after that. Thank you so much to Missguided for bringing these beauties into my life.<br />
<br />
If you're now thinking of trying these mists for yourself, which scent will be going in your basket first? Let me know in the comments!<br />
