Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick

I'm so excited to write this post as it's the first real luxury brand I've featured so far on Just Lucy's Life besides Mac.

Since I had a bit of spare money this month I decided to treat myself to something that I've been longing after for a while now, a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick. Spending £23 on a lipstick seemed a bit extreme to me at first but after my friend gave me a CT lipstick sample to try I fell in love and just had to buy the full thing.

This is a lipstick from the new K.I.S.S.I.N.G range from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade 'Bitch Perfect'.

Ok so first of all, brilliant name right?! And second, just look at the rose gold packaging! It's any blogger's dream.

I love that you could tell straight away this was from a luxury brand just from the packaging, it came wrapped in tissue paper with a rose gold logo sticker on in the symbolic Charlotte Tilbury colours. I also loved the sleek and glossy design of the box packaging which also gave it a luxury feel.

'Bitch Perfect' is the perfect nude for me. It's got the right balance of pink and brown (which I sometimes struggle with being pale) and it gives a lovely finish with it not being matte but not too glossy either, which I love.

The texture is creamy and quite moisturising when applied, here's what it looks like on:

I'm so glad I splashed out and bought my first Charlotte Tilbury product, I know I'm going to be using it a lot and I think I've finally found the perfect nude!

Have you ever tried a lipstick or any other products from Charlotte Tilbury? If so what did you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any recommendations in the comments!

10 Things I Love About Spring.

Spring is one of my favourite times of year and today I'm going tell you all 10 reasons why.

1. Easter
One of the first things that comes to mind when I think of Spring is, of course, Easter! And we all know what Easter means.. lots and lots of CHOCOLATE, what's not to love about that?!

2. Easter Baking
Following on from the chocolate element of Easter, Easter also means that Pinterest is currently blowing up with the cutest Easter baking ideas, I want to try them all.

3. Spring Clothes
All the Spring collections are now out and all the clothes shops are filled with brighter colours and new trends. Somebody say shopping time?

4. Nail Colours
#NOTD's will be totally on point this season, dreamy pastels are coming your way.

5. Sunny Weather
This is the time of year where we can finally wave goodbye to the frosty weather and say hello to the sunshine! Plus, I don't know about you, but sunnier weather really seems to lift my mood!

6. Spring Make-up Looks
More bronzer, less coverage, lighter lipsticks.. I'm so excited to start changing up my everyday make-up routine this Spring.

7. Holidays
If you're still in Education, like me, then one of the best things about Easter for you is definitely being off for 2 weeks for the Easter holidays. 2 weeks of lie-ins and doing as little as possible, ahhh. It's also a great reminder that the next time you'll be off for more than one week will be the Summer holidays, exciting!

8. Sunglasses
Sunnier weather means that it is now acceptable to wear sunglasses again, cue feeling like Kendall Jenner every time you step out the door.

9. LUSH Easter Collection
Each time a new collection comes out in LUSH I always fan girl a little bit, but have you seen the Easter collection this year?! So cute! I can't wait to try out my 'Golden Egg', even if I do come out the bath brighter than the sun.

10. Lighter Nights.
I think that lighter nights are something that makes everyone happy for different reasons. For me, it's because sometimes I end up finishing Uni at 5, which means that half way through my commute home (if not before) it's pitch black and I already feel like the day has gone, but now it will actually be light when I get home so yay!

So those are 10 reasons why I love Spring, what about you? Let me know what you love about Spring in the comments below, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I've wanted to feature this gorgeous checked skirt on my blog for so long now but have just never found the right top to go with it. However, I feel like I've finally found the perfect match in this black, high-neck crop top.

I always call this skirt my 'Clueless' skirt because it totally reminds me of something Cher would wear on the classic 90s movie, anyone else?

I decided to add a pop of colour to the outfit with my lovely little Michael Kors bag that I treat myself to earlier this year, and I feel like it really adds a special touch to this outfit.
