The Royal Peach Palette from Kylie Cosmetics

Is it possible to be in love with an eyeshadow palette?

When I came home to the Royal Peach Palette from Kylie Cosmetics waiting for me, I ran upstairs and scraped the last bit of daylight to take some pictures for this post as I just couldn't wait to swatch the stunning colours and try the palette out for myself! Get ready for a chatty post because I have A LOT to say on this beauty!

The first thing that drew me in to this palette was the colours. Peachy colours are everywhere at the moment and I love the peach toned shades in this palette! However, I also love how diverse this palette is. Along with the peachy shades it also features some stunning shades including red, gold, lilac and of course that amazing royal blue colour!

There's also a good range of finishes with the palette being pretty much half and half when it comes to mattes and metallics. There really is an endless amount of looks you could create with this palette and I think that's why I'm already so excited about it even though I've only had the chance to test it out once so far.

When I first tried out the palette the red shade Duke drew me in, so I created my look around this shade using Sandy in the crease and on my bottom lash line along with Cinnamon. I then added Duke all over the lid and on the outer corner of my bottom lash line. I've never tried out an eyeshadow look using red/orange tones but it's going to become a go-to look as I loved how much it made the green in my eyes pop!

Another thing that I have to mention is that this is Kylie's first palette that features a mirror and brush. I love the mirror, it's a really good size and handy for on the go. I also love the look of the brush but I'm not a huge fan of the bristles, they feel a bit harsh to me, but I did use it on my crease and it gave a good finish and was easy to blend with.

I really can't praise this palette enough, including it's gorgeous packaging! I think packaging is really important in a product, and I love the box it comes in showing Kylie's eyes wearing some of the shades featured in the palette and the white and rose gold theme on the palette itself.

The one bad thing I would say is that the shadows have kind of a chemically smell, but as long as they provide good pigment that lasts all day, which they do, then I'm happy! Overall I'm over the moon with this product and I can't wait to play with it some more.

Have you tried out any of Kylie's eyeshadow palettes?
